Don't let the motocycle crowd scare you away. Wilhoites is the kind of establishment where all customers are welcome. The venue is ideal for surprise parties, a night of shooting some pool, throwing some darts, or watching sporting events.
The food, featuring standard American fare, is OK. But it's Wilhoites' character that makes this establishment worth visiting.

I visit this small cafe about twice a month just for their lunch specials.. catfish or shrimp baskets usually $5.95.
Small? Yup. I'd say the booths sit twenty folks and the U shaped Oyster Bar handles another twelve or so. More tables outside in front. Expect it to be crowded on Friday nites.
It is a one of a kind friendly local establishment run by a former Grapevine policeman and past city council member. You'll have a chance to meet lots of local Grapevine residents who I bet might like to keep this one a secret. [I live in Grapevine.. so maybe I'd better watch out.. grin]
As a side my wife always goes for their clam chowder, I like their gumbo. Catfish and shrimp are both good.. so it is always a difficult choice. Oyster platter is a treat.
Head north from 121 up Main Street, cross the railroad.. it is on the right side about two blocks down just past the visitors center. Look for the Indian Head on the side of building. Parking in back.

Absolutely fantastic!! I've been going to Asian Top for about three years now, and it's always been terrific! The staff is wonderful, and their food is very diverse and an exceptional deal for the price. They have a complete dedicated sushi/roll bar on the buffet, making it already a step above a normal chinese restraunt. Their hot & sour soup is a favorite of mine, as is their fried jalapeno roll. From your basic dishes (coconut shrimp, teriyaki chicken, beef & broccoli, etc), to crab rangoons, to mussells and peel and eat shrimp, to stuffed mushrooms, to crab legs on the dinner buffet, they have a great selection of dishes for anyone's taste! They have a wonderful, clean, and friendly atmosphere, that'll make this family-owned/operated restraunt an enjoyable experience!
Pros: Lots of choices, great quality, friendly atmosphere
Cons: Not closer to my new house!!

I had the oppotunity to check out this 'gem', and I do mean 'gem' - it's a great, friendly place. The owner came to our table to make sure we were satisfied with the food. Best PINEAPPLE RICE I've ever had! And, I've eaten thai food all over the country. There were Thai natives eating there, so you know it's authentic. My friend and I ate lunch for less than $20-great portions, fresh, fresh, fresh-this is going to be one of my new favorite places! You will not be disappointed with the food or the service. Very easy to get to from Southlake, Fort Worth and Keller - worth the few minutes in the car. AHHHHHHH....can't wait to go back!
Pros: Authentic food, served fresh, and generous portions, great prices!

This place is not fabulous, but it fits the bill for a quick meal. Rotisserie chicken is great, and my favorite are the carver sandwiches on wheat. Great for lunch! I also will sometimes pick up a whole chicken on my way home and use it for dinner. They have lots of side dishes, vegetables, sweet potato casserole, squash, mashe dpotatoes, steamed vegetables, and they have the ham, turkey and sirloin steak also. Something for everybody!

Friendly owners and great home-made Italian food. Casual and a great bargain. I love the pizza the best and the Tomato Basil soup. Everything is really great. This is located in downtown Grapevine and is one of the best areas in the DFW area. This restaurant is family and date friendly.

I love being able to bring your own wine. No markups. The wait staff is friendly, and provides wine glasses. The wait on Friday night was about 40 minutes, but that's to be expected at a great restaurant like this. Italian waiters are a plus. The food was amazing. Lobster ravioli and the filet mignon with the madeira wine sauce were delicious. The sauces are a bit heavy, but sumptuous. I recommend highly!
Pros: Italian waiters, bring your own wine (as many as you'd like), food, service
Cons: none, suggest a reservation on the weekend evenings
