Ama Lur at the Gaylord Texan is a great restaurant. Make your reservations early because most of the time they are booked. The live band was good. We sat up near the band so it was a little loud but they were enjoyable. The service here was really good. They were not intrusive or overly non-nonchalant.
The food here was amazing. I had the Sea Bass with Purple Peruvian Potatoes with a butter sauce; simply Outstanding! The presentation was beautiful also.
For a nice date or romantic evening this is a restaurant everyone should visit. It is pricey but well worth it.

This is an amazing location with restaurants, a Hotel and Spa. If you have never been to Texas this is a must stop. The dining experience here is enormous, Many many flavors, wine bars, and food choices. This restaurant Ama Lur has a Margarita Bar, the party starts the moment you walk in. They have hand crafted cocktails, margaritas, sipping tequilas and ice cold cerveza. Hot Latin rhythm surrounds you as day turns to night and the Salsa Band begins to serenade you. Enjoy Southwestern snacks from the Ama Lur menu or ask for a dinner table with a view. The spa has body wraps, facials, massage everything you can think of. The spa and this restaurant is on the top of my list for dinning gifts and the day spa experience. Come to Gaylord where EVERYTHING really is bigger and better in Texas.
Pros: A latin food experience like no other
Cons: Parking LOOKS like you have pay, but they validate, so valet and bring in your ticket

Absolutely fantastic!! I've been going to Asian Top for about three years now, and it's always been terrific! The staff is wonderful, and their food is very diverse and an exceptional deal for the price. They have a complete dedicated sushi/roll bar on the buffet, making it already a step above a normal chinese restraunt. Their hot & sour soup is a favorite of mine, as is their fried jalapeno roll. From your basic dishes (coconut shrimp, teriyaki chicken, beef & broccoli, etc), to crab rangoons, to mussells and peel and eat shrimp, to stuffed mushrooms, to crab legs on the dinner buffet, they have a great selection of dishes for anyone's taste! They have a wonderful, clean, and friendly atmosphere, that'll make this family-owned/operated restraunt an enjoyable experience!
Pros: Lots of choices, great quality, friendly atmosphere
Cons: Not closer to my new house!!

I've only eaten here a few times. While the food doesn't blow me away, it's still good enough for anyone to take some friends out for a quick bite to eat or a Margarita or two. I also have to say it's lacking a bit in the atmosphere department. If there's anything on the menu that I could recommend, it would be the nachos.

Oh & the food is pretty darn good too!! Former location of Esparza's Too in Grapevine - I've been a loyal patron of Baja Mexican Grilll since they moved in that space. Prices are hard to beat & did I mention the margariata's are the BEST!! You'll definitely get your money's worth & won't be disappointed. I recommend the Baja Fish Tacos or Steak quesadillas. Show up hungry & very thirsty :)

This place is huge. It looks like a big old sportsmans lodge with what must be 50 foot ceilings or higher. Very exciting menu with a few non traditional items like venizon and buffalo etc. This place is also a brewery where they make several types of their own beer. I tried one of the samplers when I was there which let you taste 5 or 6 of their beers at one time.

This place is so cool! The sign intrigued me, so I stopped in for a drink - I ended up being there all night! The decorations and TV's everywhere kept me entertained. They have a great variety of beers to taste (that's what kept me occupied for so long). I was not disappointed by any of them! Of course, after all that beer I had to try some food - it was amazing! They have a great steak, cooked perfectly, and the appetizer was creative and tasty. I will be back soon!
