This place is absolutely adorable! You go in and pick the body for your animal, and they have lots more than just bears, they have cats, dogs, frogs and lots more. Then you decide if you want them to be stuffed a lot or a little and you make a wish on a little heart and put it inside, then you go give the bear a 'bath' under the air stream to 'fluff him up', then you get to go dress him up and make a birth certificate! I know that they do birthday parties and whatnot, but I think this place is so cute for a gift or to take your kids for a fun treat. It is a bit pricey, but fun for a special thing.

at first glance one may find this shoppe a bit pricey. Bears are priced from $10 to $20 and outfits can range in price and get really expensive if you buy the accessories. But for a gift that is made from the heart, or to treat that special little somebody to something magical. This is the place. My daughter still hugs her 1st Build a bear that is over 4 years old. These are quality plaything and are build to endure the test of children.

What a fun place to build a bear! It isn't like the ones in the mall. It is quiet and you have time to look around and find what you want! Kids love this place and it is in a great area of uptown historic grapevine. There are more than just bears to stuff- there are frogs, lions, zebras, etc.. Fun place to take the kids for a special treat!

I expected more when I went to Build A Bear. It was too expensive for what you get. Putting the stuffing in was no big deal especially since you are just watching them do it. Unless you are with a party, I would not recommend going. I do not think we will buy additional clothes for the bear.

Build A Bear Workshop. The name says it all. Build A Bear is a place where any and everyone of all ages are welcome to come in and build and create their own stuffed animal. It's a great family experience, or ust something fun to do with friends. At Build A Bear Workshop the first thing you do is pick your stuffed animal type. They include the classic Teddy Bear, a Bunny Rabbit, and others like Elephants, Tigers, Zebras and more! Once you've picked out your animal, it's time to stuff him. You get to decide how soft thick you want your animal, because afterall you are building him. After your animal is stuft, it's off to naming him where you will get your authintic certificate of 'birth'. And last but not least, its' time to dress that little fellow. Outfits come in a variety of styles ranging from doctor, to chearleaders and football players, to cowboys! The staff is very nice, and help with any questions or activities you may have problems with. So get into Build A Bear Workshop and create some memories!

At build a bear you get to make your very own teddy bear or other stuffed animal of your choice. You get to choose the body, give him or her a heart, kiss the heart and then stuff it. Then you get to choose the clothes and then name your new friend. It is a great place for birthday parties or your preteen and her friends! Another great idea is to make one and take it to a child whom is ill.The staff at this location is super nice and are very child friendly.
