We had lunch at Zoup and I was surprised at the 16 different soups they had available. The flavors were wonderful and unique. My favorite was the Lobster Bisque. It was creamy and somewhat thick with chunks, yes I said chunks, of lobster. Yum! Their sandwiches were also good. If you sign up with them they will send you an email of the fresh soups they have for the day.

I would never recommend Zandee's to anyone. Among other things, they put a very rusty gas tank into my car and that proceeded to ruin my vehicle. It made the car break down 3 more times and each time, they charged me tons of money for what they told me was the problem, and never mentioned that the problem was their own faulty gas tank installation. I asked repeatedly for my money back after they finally admitted the problem, but they would only give me a refund after I threatened to go to the Better Business Bureau. Very shady, and I'd advise you to take your business somewhere else.

For ribs they can’t be beat. They have great salads, dinner, sandwiches and are pretty kid friendly should you arrive early enough. After the dinner hour things really start to pick up, with the sport’s kicking into high gear on the big screens. Unfortuately it’s a bar, and you’ll smell like it when you leave.

My roommate and I just moved to the area and were looking for some takeout. We were a little thrown off by the name but after reading a few reviews we took a chance...and glad we did! I was surprised when we ordered they asked if we wanted dark or white meat chicken. We're definately hooked on it.

It is a total yoga experience...postures, breathing, relaxation and philosophy. We are fortunate to have such dedicated teachers in our town.

Have you seen the newest YMCA facility in Grand Rapids??? You've got to check out the new David D. Hunting YMCA! It's awesome ~ it has locker rooms for ladies, men, young girls, young boys, and families.
There area 3 pools ~ one is for competitive swimming, one's a lap pool and one's really a lazy river that has a zero entry. That means that you can sit at the opening of the pool with your young child and let them walk around, giving them some opportunity for exploration in the water setting. You still need to obviously watch them and be right there. There are lifeguards everywhere as well. Our 3 kids (11, 3, 1) all love the pool area.
There are also many different areas for working out. And some that even look over the pool area so you can work out and still watch your child in their swim lessons. :O)
If you haven't been to check it out, you really need to get a guest pass and check out the new Y!
