I recently went to the Little Mexico Cafe on the corner of Bridge and Stocking. I had been there once before with my sister and her boyfriend, that was the first time, this was the second. I was with my boyfriend and we were there for lunch and some margaritas. We were seated immediately, which was the same as the first time I was there. The odd thing is that the place is so small when you get inside it's amazing how many people it seats in relation to how packed the parking lot is. The food comes out within 10 minutes, doesn't matter who orders what, you can all have different things. It's like the know what you want when you walk in the door. The food is great the Sangria is definitely good. The prices are reasonable and there is a completely separate section for non and for those that like to smoke. I don't know if they take reservations. The people are friendly and the service is great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some good Mexican Food!!

Great non chain restaurant that has great mexican food. The menu is pretty much what you would expect but the food has a home made taste. Recommended definitely.

I am a member of Latino Student Union at Grand Valley State University and we bring about two national speakers to campus each semester. This is the best restaurant that we have been able to find where we feel comfortable bringing a guest for an impression of Grand Rapids. The food is good, I recommend the enchiladas suizas with a glass of horchata. The service can be lacking at times, but there is plenty to look at and the ambiance makes up for whatever else is lacking.

I perhaps am slightly biased when I think of this restaurant because this was the restaurant where I had my first date with my first (and last) boyfriend. The food was excellent though (I ordered a chicken fajita) and I would definitely return. The waiter didn't seem to speak English very well, but he understood what we were ordering and the service was extremely fast. The tortillas are unlimited, which is nice since I don't like a lot of meat on one tortilla and the rice & beans were quite good too without being dry. The servings were large - If I had been eating there with another female I definitely would've split the order. I love the murals on the walls; they are so wonderful to look at while you're enjoying your meal. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Mexican food.
