A great place to take the kids to keep cool on a hot summer Michigan day is Millennium Park. It is so much fun. We have been there quite a few times this summer and look forward to some more fun filled days there. Just please make sure you watch your children in the water, with all of the recent drownings.

This range has a lot of shooting lanes, reasonable prices, and professional atmosphere. I especially like the controlled shooting rule which allows rapid fire as long as it is controlled. This is rare for an indoor shooting range. I've also never had to wait for an appointment. This is a full service place in a great location.

If you are looking for a great local bike shop this place ROCKS!! The staff is so helpful and the selection is great! Whenever I take my bike in to be repared it always comes back very promptly and in great working condition. When I came in looking for a helmet for my 2 year old they were very helpful and even set the helmet straps up to fit her head so I did not have to. Check this place out whenever you are looking for bike stuff.

This is an excellent, inexpensive driving range. The price is super cheap and they have a lot of open stations to choose from including sheltered or indoor tees. It's only a driving range so you don't have to worry about crowds who are looking to golf 9 holes. The grassy stations tend to be a bit beaten up but the putting green is always well kept. Their summertime hours are very flexible as well.

This is the best place in the Grand Rapids Area to buy your outdoor gear. The manager of EMS sat with me for two hours to fit my boots properly. She tailored them to my feet and the service/knowledge was superior. The store has a wide variety of selection from North Face, Marmot clothing. The boot/shoe selection is wonderful because there is no where else in Grand Rapids where you can have quality items like this too choose from.

I would go back here again in a heart beat! My 2.5 year old loved it! She would have been here all day. We were there when it was quite busy with school field trips, but we still had a good time. I have been told they change their theme yearly. There are two floors with about a half dozen small exhibits on each one.

I don't bowl very often, but when I do, I take the family to Spectrum Lanes. This bowling alley is different from many others in the area in that it is clean, and kid-friendly. They have many hours of open bowling and also ramps and bumpers available for the kids. There is a restaurant attached to the alley, so all of our snacking/drinking needs are met as well. I would highly recomment this alley to those who have children.

I walked in here looking for a hard-to-fin card game. They did NOT have it but they offered to call another store that they are partnered with on East Paris Ave. The employees were enthusiastic and excited about the products. The atmosphere was lively and there were a LOT of toys to choose from.
There was also the neatest thing I have seen in a while in this store. They had big buckets lined up on the shelves with children's names and their birthdays on them. It is a birthday registry, similiar to a bridal registry! Kids pick out their toys, stick them in the buckets, and then their friends pick a toy out to buy for them. How easy.
