The theater is appearing a bit rundown. It is still one of the best theaters in town though, b/c of their movie selections and times. They have 20 screens, which allows for a lot of movies and a lot of showtimes. The place is pretty big and they make some of the best popcorn in town! I wouldn't hesitate to go here, I just wish it looked nicer so it doesnt scare off any newcomers!

Anyway, this theatre has 20 screens, including "Theatre 1" which is a huge, ornate, curtained thing that they put the big blockbusters in. It's a little over the top, but it works. The theatre has always seemed a little cluttered to me, especially the lobby with a strange conglomerate of a gift shop, simulation ride, ticket stations and black couches. I have never liked the layout of Studio - it's a whole mess of hallways and theatres seem placed randomly. Plus, the bathrooms are not really convenient to the theatres and patrons in them. In addition, there are multiple concession stands and not all of them are open all the time, so if you're stuck in a theatre at the end of a hallway and the only open concession stand is way on the other side of the theatre, you'll have to miss quite a bit of the movie to get your popcorn refilled.
The whole place could use some refinishing, but overall I've had good service there. I am also a fan of their cheap movies on Sunday and Tuesday nights, and so I'll continue going there!

Studio 28 has 20 screens on which to show movies. I have found that when other theaters have had a movie leave, Studio 28 is still showing it along with the latest releases. I like this because it offers me more time to use coupons I have that cannot be used on newly released movies. They have 2 very large theaters to show the latest movies, and great stadium seating so that there is not a bad seat in the house!

Studio 28th street theatre has been around for many years. They have periodically enlarged and remodeled the theatres. All of the new movies are shown here and they have very comfortable seats. Parking lot is huge with a few different exits. The theatre is easy to find with many opportunities for shopping around it. We really like it!

Great theater with PLENTY of screens and tons of stuff to eat and drink. If you're going to see a movie, this is THE place to go in Grand Rapids.

This theater has surely been ran down in the years it has been there. It used to be so nice inside and it has just been run down. The staff there is alright, some are a little rude. The food area is kind of dirty too, makes you not want to get anything to eat from there. Not the first choice for watching movies.
