This is the best place especially on a holiday when not only do they have horse racing but they also have activities for the kids. The firework show at 4th of July was outstanding where you bring your chair and a blanket for the kids and relax in the grassy open area. Even if you don't bet on the horses it still an exciting day for the kids.

Riverside golf course is a great place to play golf. The course is well kept up. They do a great job on the landscaping. The rates are pretty competitive with other courses in the surrounding DFW area golf courses. The greens are scenic and the holes are challenging. It's a great place to play. If you live in the Riverside appartments they give you a discounted rate on golf lessons. I haven't done this, but I have heard that they do a good job with the lessons.

This is a driving range. It also has a par 3 golf course. This is great for beginners and if you want to just want to work on your swing. There is a section you can practice your putt too. Price is very good. Open all the time! The employees are very nice and this is a kid friendly environment.

Although it can be a bit pricey, It is still probably the best place to take your kids. It differs from the other arcades because the environment is more for young kids rather than all ages. I like the fact that they have someone to stamp your hands when you walk in so that your children don't get lost. The food is pretty good, but again it can be expensive.

But I did want to let everyone in GP know that they are showing FREE kid movies every Tues. and Wed. ALL SUMMER!! I took my girls to watch "Curious George" last week and we had a ball.
