The service is great, our needs have always been met while staying there. The pool is an awesome bonus! Even the people that stay there have always been friendly. Whether you are going for a weekend getaway or a fishing expedition, I recommend you get a room at Cajun Holiday. They have rooms for small and large groups with reasonable rates. We always stay at Cajun Holiday now!

Artie's is the only sports bar located on Grand Isle. They are conviently located at 3162 Hwy 1, beach side so if you are coming off of the beach you don't have far to walk.
Arties is the perfect place for meeting friends, passing a good time, or watching that football game on tv. They have two big tvs so the patrons don't miss any of the action.
The drinks are all reasonably priced, so going to artie's won't hurt your pocket. The staff is all so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about mixing drinks.

I made a reservation on Thursday, June 11th for Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th, when I arrived I was told I did not have a room. I was doubled booked. They told me they where sorry that we all make mistakes. I drove a long way to get that kind of news. I was told to try Century 21 and they were very helpful. The only problem was it costs me $300.00 dollars more to stay at a camp they had just renovated. When I told this to Grand Isle Suites they again told me we are so sorry but we can't refund the difference. I was in a bind at the time and had to take what was available. I had business associates coming and had to do something. On Monday June 15th I received a call from Clarence, He started to apologize, then threatened me and called me an idiot if I expected any money to be refunded. Wow, I did not expect that. Anyway, they don't give confirmation numbers, they just get your name and credit card number. I wrote this to help the next person this might happen to. By the way, we did not let this get in our way of having a good time.

Cons: You may get a reservation, but good luck if you get a room
