The BEST Burgers I've ever had !!
Everything else is great also ! I've tried many of their items and have never been disappointed.
My Parents would go there 3-4 times a week for several years in a row before my Dad passed away. I never went there that much but, I'm sure I've been there over 100 times in my life.
I live in AZ now and sure do miss it. I go there everytime I come to Glen Ellyn

I went alone to this restaurant for breakfast with my three small kids (suicide). This place used to be a dennys quite a while ago and wow, things had really changed since Danby's came along. It is very nicely decorated. Very warm and inviting. I felt very comfortable being there. The waitress I had was very helpful. She immediately got my kids crayons and paper without me having to ask. She was very helpful with my kids' special requests. The food came very quickly (mercifully since my kids were acting like monkeys). I was happy, my kids were happy and the experience was remarkably peaceful and sane..

I think this is the best Italian around. The last time I went there I got baked mostacolli, and it was awesome. I also like their gnocchi. No one else makes it as good.
Their pizza is the best, too. It is very cripsy and flavorful. if you like deep dish, theirs is awesome. It is so full of cheese and very saucey.
They have Italian ice and the regular desserts like tiramisu. Theyre all good.
There is usually a long wait no weekends, so I think take-out is better. Also, there tends to be a lot of large groups and annoying kids. I know that happens when the prices are good.
Pros: Authentic food, good prices

Every ingredient is fresh and flavorful; and though you may not want to for the sake of its beautiful presentation, everything on the plate is edible. Specials are amazing. Try the Beef with Crispy Grandma noodles--a recommendation for the uninitiated, or the whole fried country catfish. Your life is incpomplete if you have not tried the egg rolls. Dragon one is the best chinese place in the Glen Ellyn area. They are extremely friendly and know their regular customers by name and the owner even remembers how i like my food!!! Great tasting food, order from them multiple times per month. Love it! And...free crab rangoons (that are delicious) with a purchase of $20 or so. (approx).

This location offers $5 large pizzas, all the time, with no limit. You can choose cheese, pepperoni, or sausage. Additional toppings are available at an extra-cost. The quality and taste of the pizza is good - and I consider it an exceptional bargain at a price of only $5. Furthermore, the pizza is ready within 8-11 minutes of calling it in.

When we moved to Lombard it took a few trys to find good Chinese. After a couple of terrible Chinese restaurants we found the Golden Wok II and have never ordered out from any other Chinese place. Whenever my "chinese food buddy" comes to my house, we head over to Golden Wok for the buffet, which is pretty darn good. At the time of writing this they are on vacation and I am totally bummed that I cannot have my Chinese food fix until tomorrow night!
You can never go wrong with the beef fried rice or the Mui's special. I think they have the best crab rangoon that I have ever tasted too. Chicken fried rice is a little dry (the chicken) that is why I switched to the beef, but all around I have never had anything there that I didn't like. Service is quick and everyone there is very nice.
Pros: Great meals for a decent price
Cons: They aren't located right next door!

For the last 40 years I have gone to Alfies for the hamburger or cheesburger and never bothered to try anything else the burgers are that good. About ten years ago I tried the ribs. The ribs are as good as any I had at Naperville's rib fest. All the food is good but the burgers and ribs are outstanding. The menu is growing after decades of a menu I could memorize. Maybe in 30 years I might venture away from the burgers and ribs. Maybe
