We went to Thee Pits Again for my birthday celebration because I had eaten there once before and liked it, and it was in Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Well, it qualifies as a dive. We were seated for several minutes, and watched another party be seated and served before anyone even came and asked us about drinks. My wife had to go and get someone to wait on our table. Another party seated next to us also complained about the lack of wait staff. Then we ordered a grilled cheese sandwich plate for my daughter and it wasn't even grilled; it was a piece of cold cheese on bread. Then I saw an insect crawling on the lettuce leaf garnishing my plate, but I said nothing because my wife was taking me there for my birthday the experience was already bad enough. I will never go there again. Cons: Poor service, insect in food

I have lived in Arizona my whole life and the day I saw Thee Pitts on the food network was when I realized I def need to try this place. I brought my parents from out of town and they were amazed!! My dad being the food critic couldnt be any happier. Mom finding the establishment absolutly adorible and the food to die for was in heaven. I personally got the pork and slaw, the meat was so tender and moist and the whole made coleslaw was to die for. We had also ordered the appitizer platter wow was that awsome!! the vegtables were fresh! I couldnt belive it!!! and for dessert of course were couldnt just pich one we tried the whole made bread pudding peach cobbler and we couldnt say no to a deep fried twinki! I had to say the whole experience was outstanding. I will continue to recamend Thee Pitts to everyone I know . To this day It is my weekly diner Pros: The food, atmoshere and the service

i went in with my whole family, and i cant say that one person was overly happy about their food, it was amazing food and we all cant wait to come back. we came in on a friday and it must have been in thte middle of their dinner rush cause they were almost full and we were very lucky to get a booth. but regaurdless the server was very quick to seat us. he was a very good server, got our drinks out quickly and was very pleasant. most of us got the ribs cause we have been before and knew they were good the rest got pork sandwiches. i tried some of my sisters and thats what im getting next time. it was so good. the place was very family oriented with pigs everywhere, they even seemed to have a movie playing for kids on one of their tvs. but back to the food my ribs were so good they came right off the bones when i bit into them and my sides which were cole slaw and potato salad tasted like it had just been made , i was very pleased. this time some us decided to get dessert which i didnt realize were also made therre. iit was stcuk between the bread pudding or peach cobbler, i went with the bread pudding and it was so good. i cant really descirbe it other than the best i had ever had. but our experience at thee piits again was nothing less that great and we cant wait to come back again. dont pass this place up. i came it last weekend with my whole family and loved it so much i had to tell more people about it. the atmosphere was very enjoyable and kid friendly. we had my two grandchildren with us and the place is filled with pigs, pigs everywhere more than i could count. they loved it and were so happy from the second we entered and they ended up not wanting to leave. and then the food was so good. must of us got the ribs and pulled pork meals which was way better than i had expected. how could i have not heard of this place before now. but my daughter got the hamberger and she loved it, said it was one of the better burgers she had ever had. i was very surprised . this place has great family appeal and wonderful food, we will definatly be back very soon..!!! we just had a huge event catered by thee pitts agian...i cant say we had one person who wasnt happy with the food. they came and dropped everything off and was on time. they made sure everything was ok before they left. and i have eaten at their place before so i knew the food was good, amazing at that. but everything they brought use was no diffeerent from what is served at their place, it was so good and everythihng went very well. i just wanted to left everyone know if you love BBQ you will love thee pitts agian, and if you are looking for good catering then give them a call. i was very hapy with everything and plan on returning very soon. thank you thee pitts again!!! Pros: catering service and their pulled pork Cons: they need sweet potato pie!
