Absolutely the BEST!!! We loved this pizza. I also happen to think they have the best Fettucini Carbonara in the valley. Not to mention their red sauce rocks, we have tried several pasta dishes as well as the chicken parm and Salerno's cannot be beat. Please take this from 2 people who LOVE to EAT. We are very sad that Salerno's has closed their dining room & are only available for take out & catering, but you can be sure that we will continue to order there are least once a week!!!!

This is truly Chicago Pizza. The Valerie before me must not have grown up in Chicago and obviously has no taste for pizza. In the neighborhoods pizza was thin. Chicago Style thick pizza was a marketing ploy. They offer both. The owners still hand pack their sausage and make the sauce daily ( real the real Italians call it gravy).

I went to this place just this past Friday as I was craving pizza. I went because the online reviews gave this place the highest thumbs up for its pizza. Well I am a native Chicagoan and also like to consider myself a secondary citizen of that other great city, New York, so I KNOW PIZZA. I was so disgusted that I took a couple of bites of both my cheese slice and my sausage slice and asked for the check. I would like to know if the owner has ever been to Chicago as his menu boasts Chicago style pizza and let me tell you THERE WAS NOTHING CHICAGO ABOUT THAT PIZZA. Horrible. No one will rave about the location or the decor but they will RAVE about the pizza. I am a Chicago transplant and am in heaven since I found Salerno?s pizza. They offer thick and thin and they are both delicious. They make their own Italian sausage and top their pies with lots of ingredients. I could eat pizza every day and this pizza is the best. The only negative I could even say is that they don?t offer delivery. So its dine in or carry out baby?. Pros: Great Service, Great PIZZA and ample parking Cons: no delivery. Is that really a con?
