I am still on the fence with regard to this practice. Adams, my doctor, has been very patient and receptive with regard to my HRT options. My only hesitation (and it is a BIG one) is seeing Dr. Van Eken when I went there for the first time. I had the incredible misfortune of being treated by her several years ago when she practiced at Goodman-Partridge in Chandler. I required a hysterectomy and she insisted, despite my requesting the procedure be done laprascopically, that the only way to perform my procedure was traditionally by cutting me open like a fish and suffering through weeks of recovery. I walked out and never spoke to her again. Three weeks later, I had my hysterectomy performed by another physician using the laser and I was on my feet within three days!! Whatever you do, stay clear of her. She doesn't know what she's doing and doesn't care about what's best for her patients.

Valley Women for Women is the OB/GYN practice for Drs. Mia Lynn Van Eken, Denise Belisle, and Julie Adams. They are wonderful. Dr Belisle delivered my daughter but I had appointments with all three doctors during my pregnancy. I never felt rushed and my questions were always answered completely. Additionally, during my labor and delivery, Dr Belisle respected my birth plan to the letter, even though it was not the standard procedure (ie no drugs, no induction, eating and drinking during labor, etc). The nurses are wonderful, they actually remember who you are! The front desk is speedy with checkout and appointment setting. They are in the process of going to a paperless system, so initial check-in can take a few minutes. I have not tried to reach them after hours/emergency and cannot comment on their answering service.
