I am picky. Dr. Krieg is my 4th pediatrician, and I drive an hour to see her. It's worth every minute! When my girls get sick, you call and talk right away with a receptionist who will fit you in not just the same day but within a few hours--faster and so much better than urgent care!! My sister recommended her when my old doc said my girl was fine and I knew he was wrong. Dr. Krieg sent us to the E.R. (thank goodness because by the time we got there her fever was 106 and they put her on I.V. fluids within minutes!). Dr. Krieg personally called the hospital to make sure they ran certain tests and called us several times to follow up. WOW! And that's not unusual--my other girl had a mysterious fever this week and the Dr. ran sufficient tests to rule out anything serious (most doctors I've had would have sent me home saying it was just a virus, but it potentially could have been much worse. If they don't test, they don't catch serious problems early!) and she called me several times over the next few days to give me test results and ask if the baby had any new symptoms. I mean, people, this is CLEARLY above and beyond anyone's expectations! She takes time to ask not just about health but about behavioral issues, eating habits--anything that concerns you. I switched in time for my third baby and I thought I knew everything about parenting, but I grudgingly took her advice on nursing and helping the baby sleep through the night--and it worked! This doctor is a mom and she knows what she is talking about. The office expects you to be on time, and I never have to wait more than five or ten minutes to get in--they run a tight ship. The staff is nice enough, especially in comparison to most offices, and believe me, I've been in many. So in conclusion I give Dr. Krieg the highest praise that I can give to any doctor: I trust her with the health of my children and she is my 4th and last (hopefully) pediatrician! Pros: Dr. Krieg is amazing! She is thorough, and I trust her! Cons: I've had a receptionist get snippety. . . .

I had my 3rd son this summer. I felt getting him circumcised, after much research, was the right thing to do... found out that this practice charges $400.00 to do this elective surgery that most insurances do not cover. My other sons only cost $200 and $250. Why so much? My only conclusion is that they really don't want to do them. I left and found a very nice doc who did it for $250. Later, I came back to this practice because it is very close to my home and that has been the only problem I've ever encountered. I have found them to be good pediatricians. One of the practitioners named Beverly is very nice and pleasant. They are good also to get in for a same day appointment. My children love the giant fish tank in the office.

Speaking with the receptionist was a pleasant experience. I was able to set up a meet and greet with the doctor for next week!!! I look forward to meeting with them.

I took my son there when he was born and because he was my first born didn't realize any better. I have made very informed and researched decision to put my child on a delayed vaccination schedule. All of the doctors except Dr. Kreig have given me so much trouble for it. Especially Rebecca. Her attitude was ridiculous and I found it insulting. Dr. Novy is very nice but misquoted me on some information regarding vaccines. If I hadn't already done my research then I too would have believed whatever she told me. She gave me advice regarding these vaccines which I no longer trusted her on and later asked a reknown pediatrician and found out I was correct. I am glad that I didn't follow her advice. I decided to give it one more shot with this office but the last time I went Rebecca gave me so much attitude for my decisions that I decided to leave. Not impressed with them and with so many choices in doctors out there and more and more people choosing to either not vaccinate or to delay vaccinations, they really should be more tollerant and less ignorant.

Our son has been a patient at Childrens Oasis since he was 2 months old. We found Dr. Novy and staff after leaving another office that we were not satisfied with. Our son is now going on 4 yrs old and we have always had a positive experience there. I have recommended this office to many friends. We have seen Dr. Novy, Rebecca, Bobby, and Dr. Krieg and all have been very good to us. The nurses and office staff are always friendly and do a great job.

We have only seen Dr. Novy once so far, but I was really impressed. She was very knowledgeable and related well with the kids. She was easy to talk to and took her time to make sure everything was discussed that needed to be. We definitely plan to go back and check out the new office. There were no billing problems, we used a copay with insurance, so I'm really not sure what the rates are or how they compare. We were able to get in for an appointment with ease. PROS: very nice staff and friendly, intelligent doctor CONS: none yet
