Drive-in movie theaters seem to be a dying breed these days. The number of people I've taken to Harvest Moon who have declared it to be their first drive-in experience is ridiculous. In general drive-in movie theaters are a great experience. Best to go with a group not afraid to talk back to the screen. Bring blankets for sitting on the hood of your car with, or plenty of lawn chairs and crank up your radio. The trick to picking a movie to see is to go for the least amount of plot and the largest special effects budget. I saw War of the Worlds at the drive-in a few weeks ago and it worked perfectly.
Harvest Moon has two screens that each show one movie. Shows start at dusk every weekend. The snack counter has expanded this year, to two buildings and a traveling golf cart that sells candy and soda. The burgers and popcorn are good, and the chocolate-covered banana is intriguing although I'll probably never try it. They even let you order from the Pizza hut across the street to be delivered to your car (you can no longer walk across the street to pick it up, must be ordered at the movie snack counter). I recommend bringing a large group and a (discrete) cooler of beer (not for the driver of course), and parking on the edge of the crowd so as not to annoy the families too much. Then critique away to your heart's content. My one complaint is that they introduce an intermission into the movie. Breaks are fine for popcorn and bathroom trips, but they break up the movies at the most random spot possible. Ruins the effect a lot of the time. But hopefully at that point you're enjoying yourself so much you won't care.

I recently bought new tires for our van. I went to Neal Tire and Auto and got a great price. They did a great job and fast too. We will be going back soon to get some for our car. Great place to go for tires.

Who knew tucked away in the middle of the cornfields of Illinois you could find excellent German food! The restaurant feels like you've stepped into another place, and the food is always great!
PROS: Great food
CONS: very far away!

This is a great car wash. It has plenty of room to wash or dry and throw out trash. Their wands have great water pressure, it is worth the extra mile to go there because with the pressure your car comes out cleaner. Its located off the main road, the park is just a block away so the scenery is very open. Not a lot of buildings around which makes it nice.
