I was on a tight budget (up to $1,000 @ most) but I have very upscale tastes. I went to all of the budget bridal places (davids bridal ect.) and got okay service, but not the bridal service you want as a bride. I went to Poffie Girls, and I was treated like a princess! I was tended to right away, sat in a pretty little seating area where they spoke to me about what I wanted and my budget. They weren't snooty about my small budget at all (since they also have very expensive dresses). Instead they focused on putting more effort into finding a dress I would love. The attendant went and pulled some dresses for me based on what I wanted and my budget. There was no rummaging through racks of dresses, and no attendant pulling dresses out of my price range daring me to fall in love with something I couldn't afford. It was absolutely stress free, and actually really fun! I felt like a queen being fussed over, and taken care of. They had so many styles, very good quality dresses and gorgeous veils and hairpieces. Definitely worth making the trip! You rarely get this kind of service on a small budget! I can promise you will at the least try on some beautiful dresses, and leave feeling like the princess a bride ought to be!

Poffie Girls is a very nice dress shop in which to purchase wedding dresses, prom dresses, and other formal wear. The selection is always very large ranging from high priced to low priced and the quality of the dresses available in the store is lovely. The salesladies are always extremely helpful and I appreciate that a great deal. When getting ready for my wedding they helped me so much in choosing the perfect dress and accessories. The prices are quite reasonable in terms of quality. The store is absolutely beautiful and is convieniently located just off I-85 in Gastonia. The upkeep of the store is very nice too and they have a huge parking area. A++++

A twenty minute trip for the BEST, and only burger like it.Now I travel 1 hour from Denver, NC to visit my mother for the same-one-of-a-kind burger & BBQ- because of the BBQ SLAW recipe.R.O.'s is now selling their slaw in retail markets-but it's worth the trip over to be served by the curb hops or inside at the original restaurant.No thin' could be finer, than to dine in Carolina-anytime.Patsy

This is a very small store packed from wall to wall with stuff. They have birds, dogs, cats, and other exotic animals. They carry a lot of different supplies for all animals. Just in my opinion the store has a bad pet odor and I didn't feel like the animals were well cared for.

I LOVE Rodis. The atmosphere is always great. The food is amazing. I could eat their chips and cheese dip everyday! The pasta is always perfect and the burgers are wonderful! I highly reccomend this place to everyone. There is something that everyone will love there.

Mary Jo's Cloth Store is a fabulous store in which to purchase fabrics, patterns, and hundreds of other craft and sewing supplies! The selection available of fabrics is wonderful! I could spend an entire day shopping in this store. The help of the ladies in the stores is hard to find elsewhere and the quality of the fabrics sold is always high. The wide variety of fabrics is also something that I like a lot. The store is laid out nicely and everything has it's own place. Everything is easily accessible and the store is quite orderly. A++

Milano's is absolutely the best restaurant around! We love everything on the menu, but our favorite items are their Chicken Zita (Alfredo Sauce), Lasagna, Marinated Beef Strips, Chicken Piccata....and we can't leave out their FABULOUS Pizzas & Subs! We've been dining at Milano's about 15 years, and still have not found a restaurant that compares! Their service is great, the portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable. We've had several parties there, as well, and we love their private banquet room---it's beautiful and very spacious. Always good to make a reservation if you have a large party so they can be prepared to wait on you, especially on the weekend, but it's not mandatory.....they've seated a large group of us many times without a reservation......I just prefer to let them know ahead of time. They also have a great kids menu, and we feel very comfortable taking our children with us.....they love the food too! Thumbs up Milano's!!!
