All American Tire & Automotive is one of the oldest family-owned tire and automotive shops in the Carson Valley. They opened in 1975 with no competitors. Now, they have several competitors, including national chains. However, they are staying above the rest with their superior customer service. John, the owner, and his employees are the most dependable and trustworthy technicians I've ever worked with. I will be a lifelong customer of this store. I even got a handwritten thank you in the mail after I had my car serviced. Impressive.
Pros: New and modern location, friendly employees, stellar service

something for everyone, the owner is one of the nicest people you will meet. There literally something for everyone and if you are having a problem finding something; they will help. Very cute store! Wonderful. I have a girlfriend who travel from Vegas every year to do her Christmas shopping at this store. Wonderful

We ran into this restuarant travelling from Tahoe to Bishop. They roped us in in the parking lot as our tour group disembarked from the bus. Unbelievable! Over 100 dishes on the menu and a buffet. They also have 18 Chef Special dishes. Luncheon specials are from 4.95 to 5.75. Lunch buffet for adults= $5.49 and $7.99 for dinner. Can order the Carry Out Buffet for lunch=$4.61/ lb, dinner= $5.89/lb and if seafood only then $8.49/lb. Don't know why the odd pricing. If your Carry out buffet contains over 80% seafood or ribs then there will be an extra charge.

My daughter was very sick her first year of life and was on constant meds. The staff at the pharmacy knew us and always tried to fill our prescriptions as fast as possible because they knew I had a sick child. They were always nice and helpful when our insurance had problems. I also love the drive thru, a godsend when you are filling prescriptions weekly.

I have stayed at the Topaz Lodge many times just to spend a little time relaxing and getting on the lake to do a little fishing. The rooms are simple, but clean and well maintained. They also have 3 good restaurants where one can catch a view of the lake.
If you want to spend a little time outdoors, they have docks where you can dock your boat either by the day or overnight. They also have a store where one can purchase supplies for spending the day outdoors such as coolers, food, beverages and fishing gear.
It is truly a place where you can go to relax and have a lot of fun.

I recently visited Winner' Corner Chevron on my way through Gardnerville, Nevada. There gas prices were fairly decent, as were their products. I was shocked when I arrived inside the store and saw that they had slot machines inside. Not only did they have them, but they were full, all three of them were being occupied by people. Maybe if one was available I would have stayed awhile.
