This gym is pretty standard fair for a 24-hour fitness. All the same equipement and personnel expectations. There are however, a couple of HUGE problems with this one: 1 can not believe how long this gym has been without its pool. It's been months! Second, there aren't enough of a variety of weight plates. I like to lift in small incremements when I lift heavy. For example, I'll attempt to bench 305 one week, then move to 310 two weeks later. It's almost impossible to find a 2 1/2 pound plate in this place! Also, someone keeps turing on the soap channel in the men's locker room. What's up with that? Several of us have requested CNN or ESPN, but somehow, it's always some soap. On the plus side, they have plenty of cardio equipment. You'll never wait for a treadmill or an elliptical machine.

24 Hour Fitness Garden Grove Sport facility is always busy. Unless you come in around lunch or after 11pm, the gym is always pretty full. The gym has a pool and basketball court as well. The gym is full of personal trainers as well. The gym has a pro shop where you could buy 24 hour or NIKE type of clothes as well as supplements. There is a very large variety of cardio equipment at this facility. The aerobic classes are very fun. There are 30 minute classes, followed by cardio and strength classes. The yoga instructors at this facility are very good. The cycle classes are very fun as well. There is a cycle class every day of the week, even sometimes 2 times a day. There are 3 lanes to the swimming pool. There is a jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna. I do not find this particular pool and jacuzzi to be very clean. I am very disappointed at how bad this area is taken care of. People are supposed to shower before they enter into the pool from the jacuzzi or sauna, or even from the locker room, but too many people do not shower, so there is a film of sweat on the pool. The chlorine is very heavy and some people can walk away with headaches. It's not the smell, but there is something that people complain about the water. But if you are there for a workout without the pool, the gym is fairly clean.
