Once the best in Los Angeles, it has slipped a bit over time, although a recent remodeling makes it a little more presentable. It still boasts a large selection of local foods in big portions and has excellent spam musubi's, but avoid anything fried (beef cutlet, etc.) or with gravy. The Kalua Pork is a good choice. The food is generally salty so be sure to get a refreshing Hawaiian Sun drink or Hawaiian Ice Tea to go along with your meal.

Forget King's Hawaiian. Forget the Loft, Back home, even forget Island Grinds. Before all of those there was Bruddah's. Words alone can't explain this place, you have to try it for yourself. You enter and seat yourself, choose from a menu full of Hawaiian food, or look at the white board for today's specials. Try anything, its all good, and as always, order the iced tea. Other places might be cleaner, nicer, and more upscale, but there's only one Bruddah's. Delivery within a one mile radius/min. 4 orders.
