curry house is supposed to be like an upscale place to enjoy curry. Their curry is okay. I like the fact that they have different varieties on their menu, they even offer vegetarian.

Curry House is one of my favorite restaurants. They keep raising their prices, but it's so good so I always go back! Their katsu curry is my all time favorite. If you don't like curry, they have other options as well (spaghetti, pilaf, hamburger steaks, etc). The only down point I have for this location is that it is TINY. I mean, if you go on a busy night you have to wait a long time because the place only holds like 40 people or something (maybe smaller?). I usually go to the bigger ones that don't have long waits.

Curry is one of my favorite Japanese foods, and boy do they know how to make it! The Keema Curry has become one of my favorite dishes here. It blends the curry with a bunch of different spices and it is quite tasty. If you go for dinner, it always comes with a free soup or salad, and their salad dressing is so delicious, i always ask for extra.
Don't like curry? there are several other items on the menu like pasta! Japanese style pasta is so delicious, i love it when i'm not feeling like curry
.
The service is great, they are very attentive, and parking is never a problem.

I enjoy coming to eat here with my family. We order a variety of different curry dishes that are yummy. They have a special kids menu, too. My kids like to sit by the big fish tank and look at all the colorful fish while we eat. They have really good iced green tea and I always go home with a bottle of their specialty salad dressing that they sell. It's affordable and comfortable dining there.

A restaurant that can afford to lower its prices to 1985 levels for its 25th Anniversary sale throughout Los Angeles better be confident about its food and Curry House does not disappoint those who flock there for reliable Japanese-style curry dishes as well as spaghetti. While its a decent value at regular prices, it was a incredible value during the sale. My entire family including two boys with huge appetites found the Curry House a great place to celebrate. We will keep going there and are also looking forward to the 30th Anniversary.
Pros: the Anniversary sales, the menchi-katsu curry
Cons: parking lots around Curry Houses can be busy

For years I have been passing this place up, but recently curiosity and a love for Japanese cuisine finally got to me. It has never failed - every time I've been by any of the South Bay Curry Houses during lunch or dinner, they are absolutely packed with people - mostly of Asian descent. And, as we all know, that is never a bad sign. I ordered the Beef Katsu Curry, which comes as a large panko-breaded patty on rice, slathered in your choice of curry spice level (I went for the mild), and a side salad with your choice of dressing. The curry sauce was rich yet not greasy, and there was almost too much for the amount of rice and meat on the plate. The beef was juicy and fried nicely, the panko breading really made it. The salad was topped with a ginger dressing (called Japanese dressing), which tasted great after the rich curry. Menu items here are no more than $15, and most are under $10. The staff is mostly Japanese and very friendly and attentive - despite hitting the lunch rush, I was in and out in 35 minutes.
Check out the website to see their full menu offerings, and thanks for reading.
Pros: food, service, cleanliness, price
Cons: parking at peak times, small place

the escape into what i would call the japanese fast-food. yet, healthier and better tasting than that of the usual american tastes. japan's famous spaghetti is one of my favorites at the place, as well, as of course, the name speaks for itself, the curry. anyhow, i would recommend this place to those of you who are too lethargic to make your own homemade curry.
