Never cheats, never had any problem, open till midnight and even on Saturday.

If you've been following my series of reviews on auto mechanics, you know that I've been having issues (from time to time) with my beat up old Honda. Now that I've been here in the LA area for almost a year at the time of this posting, I think I've finally found the one mechanic that I will go to whenever I have car-related issues: Tony Auto Service in Gardena, CA.
One of the issues I've been having with my car is that the engine runs hot. I drove halfway to Vegas recently, and my engine started running hot and I couldn't figure out why. Luckily, it dial never went into the red.
Anyway, I had taken my car to three mechanics, and none of them could figure out what in the world was wrong with my car. Tony went beyond the basic checklist of reasons as to why my car was acting up and did some further investigation and got to the root of the problem.
My car is finally fixed, and I am driving it worry free. And I know that the next time something goes batty, Tony will fix it right.

I had gotten a flat tire one time and I do not know, for the life of me, how to change a tire. Luckily my car insurance covers towing services so I contacted them and they were able to get Sam's Towing to my location within minutes. The guy was very friendly and changed my tire fairly quickly right on the spot. I was so relieved.

Purchased a 09 LX Civic over here. The experience was a complete nightmare. First I was told the car I wanted was available for the price I wanted. When I went there, they then told me it's only available with add on accessories and charged me double the MSRP. Paper work and waiting was at least 3 times longer than my average car buying experience. Lots of useless waiting around. Sales person promised me many functions that at the end didn't deliver. The person who was responsible for the paper work was rude. The haggle me for getting their over price warranty, lojack, car alarm and others. The offered more than double the price where you can find the exact same thing outside, and lied about that you can get those services once you walk out of the dealership. When I rejected his offer nicely, then I can immediately see him turn mad, and becomes really rude, and started to lecture us like we are bunch of bad people. The sales person promised me full tank of gas during the sales, but at the end I only gotten half a tank and refuse to fill it up. During the sales I offer them an AAA check, which the sales person instructed me to write them a personal check instead. He promised they wouldn’t deposit my personal check until 5 days later, so I have time to deposit the AAA check. At the end they deposit my check immediately and I was charged for fee by my bank. Terrible terrible service! They lie and lie until they get you to buy the car, which at the end they didn’t keep any promise. The Sales person’s name was Perry Greene. I’d stay away from his lies if I were you. He will promise you many good things, which at the end not giving you any of it.
Pros: Love honda, but hate this dealer
Cons: Lie about anything just to get you to buy it

I must say that i dread coming into this store. Staff although polite are usually unorganized , although sad to say seeing how it is an auto parts store, usually don't have the type of knowledge of auto parts and mechanics one would expect from them. Add this up with the store always being filled with costumers; it is just not a pretty site.

so my friend told me that he bought four name brand tires from able auto at a good price. and i was just in need pair of tires. They gave me a good advertise of their tires, and did give me a good price quote for a pair of tires. However when I was asking for the actual brand of the tires, she came up with some weird brand i never heard of and claiming they are in very good quality and maybe better than Dunlop. They almost got me, and I will never come back again.
