My wife and I stopped in to the Log Cabin Inn's Restaurant and Lounge on our way back home from the coast. We had made note of it on our way to Tillamook because their sign advertised RC Cola, which we considered a novelty in a Coke or Pepsi world. We were disappointed to learn that they didn't actually have any RC Cola when we ordered drinks, they only have the usual Pepsi products. However, our meals more than made up for any disappointment we might have felt. I ordered their special sandwich of the day, the BBQ Bison Sandwich, while my wife had their cheeseburger meal. Both of our orders came with crispy thick-cut golden fries. She found her burger to be especially savory with its fresh vegetables and juicy patty of beef. My bison sandwich was made with thin-cut layers of bison meat. Our waitress brought over three bottles of sauce for our meal, regular mustard, barbecue sauce, and a house special sauce which she said is mixed there, called mop sauce. I poured both barbecue and mop sauce on my sandwich, and it made for a delicious combination. Their restaurant's specialty meat is bison, and I highly recommend it when you want something other than regular beef. Though it advertises a lounge, there is no smoking at the Log Cabin Inn, which we appreciated. The meals were very inexpensive for their quantities, and the Log Cabin also offers a variety of home-made cakes and pies. The menues also feature the historical story of the Log Cabin Inn on the back, which made the atmosphere of the place more special. When we were finished with our meal, the waitress asked us if we had gotten enough, and we certainly had. We'll have to stop in again when we go that way. PROS: bison burger as well as beef, great prices, unique atmosphere CONS: no RC Cola as advertised
