We are hispanic. We went to see the 8pm function of Aliens vs. Monsters on April 5, 2009. When we came out of the movie theater a heavy trashcan was laid against our car. It damaged the door. Their security cameras must have caught something. Personnel is all young and "white." Someone saw something. I'm sure nobody will talk. Whoever did this did it because we are Hispanic and because my mom is Handicap. Other people did not get trash cans on their cars nor did their cars receive damage. The movie theater needs to interview employees and see if anybody saw anything and release the security tapes to see if these taped whoever did the damage. We had been going to this movie theater for a while and this is the first time we are faced with an attack on our property of this sort. It will be the last time we visit this movie theater as well. I feel strongly we were attacked because we are Hispanic and because my mom is 78 years old and she is handicap. I am sure the movie theater will not do anything, even if they have the security tapes (if there are any). And their employees, who may or may not have been involved, will not cooperate with any questioning. All I can wish for is for divine justice, and pray so, the trend continues and less and less people go to this movie theater and it eventually declares bankrupcy and goes out of business.

The movie theater at the Kentlands is pretty nice.
The ticket price is slightly lower (by 50c) than the theater in Germantown.
The snacks are over-priced as expected.
They do offer a nice value for the kids though, popcorn and drink and a candy for a low price.
They have a few video games in the front for the kids to watch/play.
The stadium seating is very nice, even in the smaller theaters.
It's central location to the kentlands makes it a great dinner & move date destination.
Parking can be difficult, but if you don't mind walking it is not an issue.

The Kentlands is known for its many restaurants and businesses that have close promixity to one another. The Kentlands Stadium Theatres has a very old-fashioned feel on the outside. Outside is also where you pay for your tickets, which is a con when it is either raining, snowing, cold, or all of the above, outside. Inside, there are lots of arcade games for the teens. The theatre itself is ok, but nothing spectacular about it.

So what do most people do Fridays? ...Well most go to the Kentlands. It’s a great place. They have shops, dinning, and the Kentlands Stadium Theater. Fridays and Saturdays, the place is packed with people! The workers are great, the service is great, and of course, the movies are your choice. One thing they can improve on is the looks, when you first walk in, with the arcade and some video games, doesn't give you a feeling of a movie theater, and just looks plain. However no matter how plain it looks, I know where I'll be going this Friday!

This is a pretty good theater. It's got stadium seating, Dolby digital sound, and decent sized screens. Yet I can't help but feel unimpressed. The main thing is the screens, while not tiny, certainly do not feel as generous as some other theaters I like. Also, the lobby and hallways just feel a bit...well, drab, I guess. Some theaters make going to the movies feel like an exciting experience. Here it just feels like going to the movies.
The dining and shopping in the Kentlands is great, though.
