The University Of Florida has a really good newspaper. They have good writers and editors. Young folks who are interested in writing and want to go to a huge university down in Florida would be well suited to attend UF. There is another smaller school in the state with great stuff too, but if you really want the BIG SCHOOL FEEL, go to UF. The paper has won some awards and any student can expect to be in a winning atmosphere at the University of South Florida.

UF is just a great school, every that goes there ends up coming away with alot of knownledge. its the perfect college to go to. when i have kids, thats where i want them to go to. all the classes are great, and i know that they'll learn what they need to to make it in todays world. Great school, GO GATORS!

I'm a grad student at this university. UF has constantly been high in the rankings in the "best value for you money" section of the US News rankings, and for a reason. The quality of the education is really good, and so are the professors. The tuition is unbelievable cheap, less than $3,000 a year for an undergrad if you are a Florida resident. The GPA average of the incoming freshmen classes are around 3.9, so the students are also very smart. If I didn't give it five stars, it's because sometimes the classes are really crowded, and the resources for certain areas (specially the humanities), are not that good. But otherwise, it's unbeatable.

Yes, I live in Gainesville and do not go to UF. I love SFCC. There is a wonderful atmostphere on campus, and speaking of the SFCC campus, it's lovely. Not too small but not so huge that you'll get lost on your way to class. The sizes of the classes are wonderful too because you'll be more likely to be able to have a one on one conversation with your professor, which is great if you are having any trouble at all. SFCC is great! I suggest it to everyone who is looking to go to school but isn't ready for a big university. and FSU is better than UF as far as universities go.

As a freelancer have worked at SFCC (now SFC) and UF, I prefer SFC. President Jackson Sasser is doing a terrific job, and the faculty, staff and student body are too. Really enjoy it and sorry to see the City of Gainesville focusing so much more of our resources on UF, SFC seems to be taken for granted.

This college is a great community college and offers a wide array of programs to complete various degrees. They are affordable and the campus is very nice and has a huge planeterium and excellent library. The professors are generally very thorough and this is an all around great college especially to start out with before transferring to a university. In other words this is a great start for many people and the campus offers a lot even though its pretty small. The whole place has a very modern feel to it. Parking can be tricky in the evenings but highly reccomended.

Love this store! Talk about a giant selection of toys and other items..its like every little kids dream lol. I always go here when i have to shop for my children, or other kids birthday parties etc, you get all you need in one place which is excellent. They have stuff here i havnt been able to find at places like Toys R Us even..it just has everything and this store is so worth checking out. I highly reccomending checking this place out you WONT be dissapointed.

i learned how to play guitar here, the teacher was very kind. i got a guitar without any lessons and then found this class so i took the lessons and it was a very reasonable price, it was $20 a month. i think i wil go back and try the advanced class sometime, its a very good place to learn guitar for begginers! this is a pretty sweet place to learn how to play the g- string or guitar as they call it.
