Hops is one of my favorite places to eat in Gainesville. I love the Hawaiian steak and the chicken pasta. This is a great place for a casual meal with friends or a first date.
Pros: Good food, casual atmosphere.
Cons: Sometimes parking is difficult to find, you may have to park in the Best Buy parking lot.

Having visited other locations of the Ale House I must say being I was seated in a reasonable amount of time given the circumstances. The Ale House was packed, which was to be expected on the eve of the NFL playoffs and a FL Gators basketball game on TV. You have to remember Gainesville is a college town. The atmosphere is great and the food is excellent. The managers all work hard in satisfying their customers. I especially like when the manager takes time out of their busy schedule to personally greet each table. Hats off to a hard working team.
Pros: great staff, courteous, clean restrooms

This awesome store is so Bijar, i love it so much. great rugs for great prices, and GREAT service. the workers are so friendly, every rug that's in my house, i've gotten from Bijar Rugs and any new rug im gonna get, im gonna get from this store. The rugs look great, feel great, smell great and the prices are great.

Stubbie boasts that they have 160 different types of beers. Although sometimes they will tell you they are out of a specific one, they carry more beers than any other pub in Gainesville, by far. It's not very cheap, and the place is really small, so it's always crowded. But it is worth checking out

wwell, they say its a night club. wich usually would suggest that its a dance club right'? well, it doesnt have much dancing going on down here. there are better places to try if you are going to dance. this place is more od a bar than a night club. the people here are usually drunk idiot guys that just want to pick up chicks. i wouldnt reccomemnd this place to any one that i know because the people here are just jerks. NOT fun for a dance club. try elsewhere

I actually went here 2 nights ago, to see a rock show by a band that i know personally, and the lighting in the place is pretty good, they have all the fancy pantzy stage show lights and they place the music nice and loud like we like it here in the dirty south. i have not been to a better local rock club here in gainesvile. the only thing bad is all the smokers gathered in one area, but thats what clubs are all about, cant really get around that.

Tried this place for a business meeting last week with 20 people. Food was underseasoned and just blah... service was too. I guess the prices were cheap, but I would have paid more for better food. I drank the rest of my dinner. Decent atmosphere for meeting- I think other people had fun and enjoyed it.
