The Reagan Year is one of my favorite places to go. This old school arcade is jam-packed with your childhood favorites--from Burger Time and Marble Madness to Galaga and Centipede! There's even an airhockey table. The arcade is adjoined to The Hub coffeeshop, so you can see a band, have some joe, and get your DigDug fix all in one place. Best part? These games still run on QUARTERS! They're all for sale, too, but a little out of my range.

Sinister and Dark~please don't let this store hear you calling them anything but that! Okay, but if you can look past that, you will find a store full of unique, crazy, fun things. Not everything will appeal to you, but how many times to we walk into a store and love everything single thing they sell? Not often! This store is perfect for your gothic friends, your niece who thinks she is a vampire and your nephew who believes he lives a life of darkness. No fun you think? Well, I disagree! Because I am none of the above, but I love much of their merchandise...girly lingerie (some could be borderline trashy), fun girly tee's, cute cosmetics. Okay, there is a lot there that is borderline offensive to me. If this seems like it might be too much for you, (think Hot Topic) browse their website. But for those of you who this appeals to, go to Ipso Facto for shoes, all types of clothing, toys, wigs, accessories and more. I would recommend you NOT bring your children to this store!

I took lessons at Patrick's Music School for eight years, and enjoyed it more than I've enjoyed most anything else I've committed eight years to. They offer instruction in various instruments (piano, guitar, vocal, violin, and a few others, I believe) by teachers who have passion for music and want to give that passion to the kids they teach. The teachers I came into contact with (though I took lessons with only one) were all very personable and pleasant people. It was a great community to learn in, and I definitely remember my times there with fondness.

The AMC 20 is found conveniently in Fullerton, CA. It is located in a plaza that includes an In n Out, Costco, and Toys R Us. Recently I went there to go see the movie ICE AGE 2. This movie theatre is especially comfortable. The theatres there are large and some seats are even reclinable (to a certain extent). There is also lots of leg room. However, pricing is a bit high as adult admission is about $9. It's a good place to go if you are getting your tires changed at the Costco garage next door.

I finally broke down and enrolled my son in Gymboree, back in March. Its a bit pricey, but I wanted to get him involved in something with other kids. (He turned 3 in June). It cost $215 to sign up for 3 months of classes, which is one hour long class per week, plus on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings, you can go in for free time, where the kids can play on the equipment and burn some energy. The class has a instructor (who I really liked) who reads the kids a book and leads them in different play time activites, though the parents must be next to their child the entire time (which starts feeling like hovering...you are in a relatively small room and to have to stand next to your child continually gets weird). Anyway, it was fun while it lasted, our class is up soon and thats okay. I wont re enroll him because we are both just kind of done with it. I think by age 3, its kind of young for the kids. So I am now enrolling him in preschool instead.

My boys love this place! Built entirely for laser tag, thats all you will find in this building. They have been to quite a few birthday parties here...I havent played laser tag myself, but from what my boys say, they have many different games. You play with a bunch of people...friends and strangers. Some games let you be tagged more than others. Music played loudly in some games. Become a member for better prices, but non members play for $7.50, so its not bad. Birthday party prices run about $13 per person.

This small museum is hidden in the Fullerton Downtown area. The tickets are inexpensive. This museum host a variety of interesting exhibits. The rotating exhibits last a few months, then the new exhibit arrives. Everything from historical Fullerton exhibits, to the traveling Fender exhibit.
The museum staff is mostly volunteers, so they are friendly and helpful. The museum has a small gift shop, where most items are inexpensive.
Outside the museum, look for the interactive fountain, thats the favorite of kids.

This place is a great place to go to find games for older systems. I went there trying to find a hard to find accessory for the Nintendo 64 and sure enough, they had it! The only bad thing about the place is that it is so expensive. There are tons of older games and accessories there that are completely overpriced. For that reason alone, it's often better to just check out some other places. If you don't mind the prices, you might want to check this place out. If it has to do with video games and is hard to find, odd are, are that they will probably carry it.
