The August 31, 2006 review of Hillside House B & B is a made-up false review. Whoever wrote it, an employee of Tucker House B & B or the web site developer for Tucker House's web site said a number of phony comments, examples : Tucker House belongs to the same B & B Assoc. that Hillside House B & B does. During August every lodging business in Friday Harbor has 98-100% occupancy and no reason to give off season rates, yet M. claims he/she received off season rates = false. Another is the statement that Hillside House B & B "has small overpriced rooms, a good distance from town". The facts are the opposite. The rooms are of similar size and the rates at Hillside House B & B are lower than the room rates at Tucker House B & B ( go to each web site and compare) plus the room furnishings are of higher quality at Hillside House B & B. Also Hillside House B & B is only five blocks from the business district of Friday Harbor and eight blocks from where the Washington State Ferry docks to offload into town. Google Maps will also prove that Hillside House B & B is in the town of Friday harbor and not "a good distance from town".
