I have used many plumbers throughout my time living in NYC. This company has been absolutely exceptional in the level of service he provided at my home. John Farr called me back right away. He was extremely polite, prompt and courteous. The problem was fixed very quickly and he didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I was legalizing my basement and had to remove several Department of Buildings violations. He removed the violations for me and did a great job. He charged a lot less than the other estimates I got for the job.

A city inspector came and told me my basement was illegal. In a panic, I called a bunch of plumbers to remove the violation. Some would only come and give an estimate if I paid them to come, and one told me it would be over $5,000! Luckily, a friend recommended John Farr and he came the next morning. He charged $1,500, did all the paperwork with the city and did a beautiful job really fast--I didn't have to wait. If only all contractors were like that! I will definitely call him next time I need something done. He's a licensed master plumber with his own shop. It is a great relief to have a good guy you know you can call in an emergency!
