Coyote Hills Regional Park is a nice place to go jogging. Close to the Dumbarton Bridge, it is easy to find and access. The trails are well-marked and the park’s proximity to the bay makes it an ideal place to run as the trails are scenic and a slight breeze blows in. One thing to keep in mind is that you need to pay to park.

If you really like to mountain bike, this is the place to go. There are a variety of trails to take from gentle long straight aways to steep uphills and fast decents. There are a lot of nice hiking trails as well. Come early and stake out a few picnic tables and you can have a really nice time. Visit the vistor's center to find out a little bit more about the history of the area.

It's a good place to see some native flora and fauna, though it's a bit more rugged than most traditional family parks.
There are also volunteer opportunities to repair ramadas and build family houses at a Tuibun-Ohlone village site for "Shellmound Mondays", as well as at the nursery, which is run by a grandfatherly man who is very casual and appreciative of the help. Good for people who want rougher and more authentic wilderness.
