Some people don't like Fed's because of their style of pizza, but not many people know that REAL authentic pizza in Italy is super thin crust and crunchy. This place hits it on the nose! Delicious thin crust pizza, and the other food is great as well. They have this hot apple crumb thing with vanilla ice cream for desert - it's totally worth breaking a diet for. Not too pricey
I have no complaints about this place, but I took off one star because of the size. It gets so crowded on the weekends and weekday nights. I used to walk there from my high school on weekday afternoons and it was really easy to get a table, but if I waited until night there was an hour wait. So get there early because it's so worth it!

If you're looking for a moderately priced thin crust pizza with lots of flavor, then Federici's is definitely the best place in the downtown area.
It's usually quite busy on the weekends especially during the summer time, but it has a great outdoor atmosphere right on main street of Freehold.
I'd highly recommend it during weekdays when it's not as crowded.

I really was not to impressed with Federicis. The food itself was not that bad. The main reason I went there was because everyone kept telling me that they had the best pizza. To me, it was too thin. I was disappointed.
The night I went there, the bathrooms where a mess. My uncle went to use the bathroom, slipped, and fell in a puddle of urine that was on the floor. We told someone who worked there. One of my family members went into the bathroom an hour later and the same puddle of urine was still on the floor.

Feds has pretty decent thin crust pizza but way over priced. Your best bet is to go there on Friday nights after 9pm. The bar menu is half priced (includes pizza). Feds needs to update everything. No credit cards accepted? Are you kidding me? it's 2008! No beer on tap? Your best bet for excellent thin crust is just outside of Freehold at the Cabin. Ice cold beer on tap too.

This very busy Italian restaurant has great thin-crust pizza. They have a full southern Italian style menu, but we haven't had anything yet that stands out except the pizza. Their salads, sandwiches, and hot dishes are so-so, and the portions are small for the price. But if you like thin-crust pizza ... this is the place.
Pros: Great Pizza

Federici's is the place to go if you like thin crust pizza. It always comes out pipping hot and tastes oh so good. I prefer the plan but my husband loves the sausage which comes out in large slices and is very tasty. In addition to excellent pizza, they have great meatballs. Their meals all look delicious too.

I have never had anything at Federici's besides thin crust pizza because it is just so good that it is all I want. I prefer plain but the pepperoni and sausage are both great also. The one downfall is that the front room is always so smokey but since smoking is going away in NJ I will not mark them down for it.
