I wish there were a few more ramen houses around the OC area. I love the ramen places in the Gardena, Torrance area. This ramen place is just okay. I would have to admit that the miso ramen is the best. The flavoring is very good. Their other good product is their potstickers and shumai. They are very good. I would assume that they are homemade like everything else is there, that's probably why it is so good. Their rice dishes are not that good and their dessert is very good as well. Regardless of the dessert that you try, it's good.

Oishi (good, tastey) ramen. They have so many different styles of ramen. My favorite ramen here is the kimchi ramen, or the Mabo Ramen (spicy tofu). They have a very good selection of ramen. Their ramen is made fresh. The noodles do not taste as if they have been sitting in the bowl until the broth had been poured on top. The soups are very tastey. The side dishes are extremely wonderful. The salads are neatly made and arranged. The only downfall about this restaurant are their rice dishes. I am not too fond of their rice dishes. Something about the rice tastes a little off.

I just love this place. If you would like a wonderful place to experience REAL Japanese ramen, you need to go to Ebisu in FV, CA. This is not the out of the box or package type of noodles. This ramen house is very nice. The room is small, very friendly. There are some booths and tables and chairs. You can see the chefs prepare the food. The ramen broth is made from scratch and is very delicious.
The only reason why it is not perfect is because everything on their menu is not THE BEST. They do not have the best rice dishes.
Every other food i have tried at this restaurant is amazing. Order a miso ramen, shoyu ramen, or the California Ramen (chicken and vegetables). You'll want to eat the entire bowl. Also for a cute twist, order an iced tea. They serve tejava in a bottle, and it will come with a little jar of sweetened water. A great twist.

Ebisu is a restaurant that serves authentic Japanese food, specifically ramen and other types of noodles. Their ramen is especially delicious and would make a stomach very happy and content. It's a nice place to go for couples and friends when you're in the mood for some oriental food. There are even models of all the meals they serve.

Ebisu Ramen Restaurant is a GREAT place for those seeking someplace to eat for not much money. While the food is great, the food contains a lot of MSG and I would not recommend eating at ramen restaurants very often. The restaurant can get very busy during the lunch hours but it is well worth the wait. The price of the food is great as long as you can forget that ramen is VERY cheap to purchase and prepare. The ramen served here is nothing like the ramen you can buy at Asian grocery markets. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Ebisu is definitely the place to go if you want Ramen. The prices are pretty reasonable. I highly recommend going during the lunch hour on Mondays-Fridays 11-3PM. The best deal has to be the lunch special. There are 3 combinations, but the most popular is the one with Ramen, Fried Rice, Gyoza, and soda.

I have tried many ramen restaurants in Orange County, not to mention Los Angeles County. Even the establishments in Little Tokyo cannot beat the taste and service at this neighborhood joint. I highly recommend lunch special which includes ramen, california rolls, salad and a soft drink. Also try their katsu menus and other curry dishes.

While they don't have the best ramen around, Ebisu does make up for it with atmosphere and chic. They specialize in a variety of ramen dishes. When you come during lunch, they have three lunch specials that start at $6.95. All of these combos come with a drink and salad. Combo A is accompanied by ramen in shoyu broth, fried rice, and two pieces of gyoza...enough so you get a sense of what Ebisu is all about. You don't leave feeling hungry. There is a children's menu, and other combinations, but it's the lunch to me that really hits the spot.
