My husband had an idea for a custom engagement ring for me. He and David worked together long distance (halfway across the country) to design the perfect ring.
When the ring was nearly complete I inadvertently messed up his design ideas. He called David and told him to stop the project. They then re-worked the design to better match what I liked best. The result is a one of a kind ring that I truly treasure! I have received untold numbers of complements on it and am grateful every day for David and his patience and skill.
I recently had to return my ring for its yearly check and am equally satisfied with the service. David was very quick to reply to my inquires and made the process very fast and simple. When I received my ring in the mail it was as if I was getting engaged all over again, it looked brand new! Thank you so much David! My husband and I are customers for life!

I tried out this jeweler after reading all of the reviews here. Unfortunately, my experience was not so good. Upon entering the store I explained that I needed a ring removed and resized. The owner was very rude and stated "We too busy!" She then stated without even looking at my ring that it would cost over $200 for a resize. I was flabbergasted and walked out. I went across the street to Ballard and Ballard jewelers and was treated VERY nice. They removed my ring for no charge and will be returning in a week to have it resized for less than half of what this store tried to charge!

Over the past few years, I had taken several jewelry items in for the odd repair, cleaning, etc. and came away satisfied. Recently, I took the plunge and asked David to make a ring for me. I supplied the stones, which held special meaning for me, and David supplied the creativity. The finished product surpassed all my expectations. The gold weight, design, and hand-crafted details made this a one-of-a-kind treasure. It is my everyday forever ring. I plan on working again with David, his mother, Mimi, and his father on another masterpiece.

They treat us not as customers, but as an extension of their family. The beauty of their work is stunning to say the least. Their ability to bring to life designs that are instant museum pieces can not been found in any store or mall. What's really astounding, however, is the dedication, patience and willingness to do whatever it takes to satisfy their customers. David and Mimi are priceless!!

I have an extensive collection of jewelry and have visited several jewelry stores, designers etc. I have visited the jewelry mart in downtown Los Angeles numerous times. However, I have never met a more professional and exquisite designer than Mr. David Truong at Mimi's. Not only are his designs unique and one of a kind, his prices are more reasonable that any jeweler I have encountered. The service is impeccable and the craftmanship is flawless. I will NEVER shop elsewhere for jewelry of any kind.
