I have been taking my pets to Animal Medical center for almost twenty years, first with my sick cat for his monthly injections when AMC was just doing injections and spay/neuter. Now, and for the last several years they have been a full service vet and the care we have received there has always out-shined any other vet. We've sent friends and family to AMC and everyone has had great experiences. They are honest, caring, friendly, skilled, and have a genuine concern for the well fare of animals. Dr. Kendrick, the owner of Animal Medical Center, has been our vet through thick and thin, when our diabetic chihuahua Billy had had enough of his sickness Dr. Kendrick put him to sleep with such care and a gentle touch, though it was painful for us he made the process as smooth as possible. When I bring Billy's 14 year old sister in for her check-ups, no matter how busy they are, Dr. Kendrick always takes an extra moment to pet Honeygirl and tell her what a good girl she is. He always remembers her and tells me how much he likes her every time we go in.
The wait can be a little long during busy hours but if you get there when they open at 8am you'll be in and out before you know it. Even when the wait is long it's worth it to know that you're baby is in good hands. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to my family and friends and will never stop taking my babies there.
Sometimes it doesn't matter how great the care is, you just can't afford it, well Animal Medical has that covered too. The have the best prices I have ever seen. With them there is no excuse for not taking excellent care of your pets, they make it soo easy. Hope this one helps.

I had an emergency eye problem, and my regular optometrist was unable to see me for a few days. Dr. Goldstone's professional, friendly staff booked me for an immediate appointment. Dr. Goldstone's friendly approach made me feel very comfortable. He was able to identify the problem, and I was on the road to recovery in no time. I have now made Dr. Goldstone my primary optometrist.

I read the other comment and I just have to comment on them. I,too, have strabismus(crossed eyes) and I have gone to numerous doctors for my problem. It depends on how crossed eyes one is, the doctor suggest different treatments. In my case, since my eyes are not too crossed, most of them had suggested that the initial step was to fix it with a pair of glasses. Through time, the eyes can correct itself. The very last step will be surgery. Although, a couple of doctors had offered to do surgery on me. After careful evaluation, I trusted the more conservative doctor. Dr. Nguyen gave me a pair of glasses and sure it took sometime to correct my problem, but the fact is it did. I'm so glad that I didn't have to go thru surgery. I continued to be his patient and will be for life because he is very reputable, and good at what he do. I was introduced to him by a friend, and he is by far the busiest doctor in Orange County. He also is known for his surgery skills. He is indeed an ophthalmologist graduated from Yale. Didn't you see all the diplomas and certificates he has on the wall in the waiting room? He graduate at the top of his class also, so I don't think that he doesn't know what he is doing. I'm very happy with how he and his staff treats me. But ordinarily I would not write any reviews on anything, but I can't help but to write this when I felt that he was wronged by people who do not understand the whole picture and are too quick to judge.
Pros: Best eye doctor I've found

Dr. Koyama is a knowledgeable, caring optometrist in the Fountain Valley/South Huntington Beach area. He brings a wealth of experience in optometry and laser surgery. I like Dr. Koyama because he's not out to sell me anything. He genuinely cares about me and we discuss what the best options are available to me. He has a large office staff so there is always plenty of help. He sells many types of glasses and sunglasses. Again, there is no pressure to buy from him. Another plus is that Dr. Koyama has late office hours once a week. My entire family goes to Dr. Koyama. He works well with adults and with children of all ages. Go with the best. Go with Dr. Koyama!

He is great! This is my regular vet. He is very gentle and caring with the animals. He is extremely knowledgeable and not an alarmist who wants to do all kinds of test. He is reasonably priced, as well. He's got a good staff and the wait is never long to get in to see him.

This is Dr. Scherer's hospital. This is the vet I use and I really like him. He is patient with the animals and he knows how to handle the difficult ones as well. His prices are reasonable and his staff is very helpful and nice. And there is a groomer right next door.

I've had the absolute opposite experience than CJM. They are a fully equipped animal hospital so that they can provide services you won't find in a storefront office or your local Vet's. They brought our stroked out puppy back from the dead with their high-tech care which included using their hyperbaric chamber! No test was ever ordered that wasn't cleared with us first. As for law suits, I'm a physician and know in today"s society everyone sues when there's an unforseen outcome whether the Dr is at fault or not.

She is the other vet at Warner Avenue Animal Hospital (my vets office). She is a good vet. My dog suddenly started losing hair by the handfuls and I rushed him in. She was the doctor on site that day and she looked over his previous blood work and notice his thyroid was off. One little pill twice a day and he is looking great.

This optometry is located on Harbor Blvd. The sales reps there are very friendly and will help you find the glasses that you need. They have a lot of glasses to choose from. The parking there is good too, there's always space to park. The glasses aren't expensive either, they're reasonably priced
