A little piece of Heaven. I love to come here with a picnic lunch and spend a couple of hours just relaxing in the shade. The ground are well manicured and maintained. You honestly forget that you are in Downtown Ft.Worth.
This is a Fabulous place for Weddings as Well. Don't be surprised during the spring if you see a Bride in all her wedding regala slipping in and out amongst the Rose Gardens.

I have visited this Museum many times over the last 20 years. It never ceases to amaze me at how well they reinvent themselves year after year!
Although some of my favorite exibits have long since been replaced, the new ones are just as fantastic. The kids will especially like digging for Dino Bones in the "excavation" site!
A must-do is pay the extra to see a show at the Omni Imax! It is an amazing experience that puts you right into the show.

There were so many interactive displays at the hall of fame that kept us buzy for litterly hours. You can be a cowgirl/cowboy TV star for a day on a fake horse with blue screen background, be talked to by Mr. Ed as you watch a movie, watch old westerns, and the little cowpokes have so much more to do, they can go exploring the wild west and dress up like a littls cowgirl or cowboy. This was the best! Also the shop boast some really cool gift ideas for the cowgirl in your life. All the staff and cowgirl guides were super friendly! Really down home if you know what I mean.

I love this place! The Amon Carter has been expanded in size in the last few years and it's great. Very easy to get too, free admission, free parking and photography is allowed inside and on the grounds. They have quite a few programs for kids and their special exhibits tend to rotate fairly often. This is a really neat place to take out of town guests so they can get a taste of Western art history. The staff has always been very friendly and I highly recommend a visit here.

My family and I have been going to Burgers Lake for the past 15 years and we always have a great time! It is truly an old fashion swimming hole and a great place to spend a hot summer day. It costs next to nothing compared to the large themed water parks. Instead of thrills come for some real family fun that includes a large relaxing spring fed lake, sandy beaches, inner tube rentals to lounge in, diving boards and rope swings!!

From the giant sculpture in the front, you know this museum is one to go to if you are into modern art. Actually, even if you aren't into modern art you will like this museum because its so interesting with the various exhibits that make you just marvel at the simplicity and what was running through the artists head. They had a very cool exhibit about Don Flavin a while back.

If you love baseball like i do and are tired of paying twenty dollars a ticket or more at the rangers games this is the plave to go. The ticktets and food is inexpesive. You sit up close. Instead of sixty rows back. The Fort Worth Cats is a great baseball team. After the game you can get autographs from the friendly players. If you love baseball and want your whole family to be able to come this is a great place for just that.

Be advised the Cheaper than Dirt (CTD) "brick and mortar" store and the online store are two different businesses owned by two different individuals. They compete against one another! I have done business with the "brick and mortar" store on the north side of Ft. Worth many times and find them to be a pleasure to deal with. They have friendly, knowledgeable people behind the counter to help you with your firearms purchases. Their prices are very competitive.
I highly recommend the CTD brick and mortar store!
Pros: Good selection, reasonable prices
Cons: None
