I got a Brazilian wax from Kay and it was not as painful as one would think. It was quick, only took 15 minutes, and I was done! She was indeed very professional and you can't beat the price. She offers after-care advice and tips as well. The receptionists were very kind and upbeat. They really make you feel welcome and comfortable there! Don't hesitate to stop by and check them out!

It's refreshing to have a positive salon experience from the moment you walk in. I've tried several stylists, they were knowledgeable, creative & listened well. The shampoo ladies were awesome. The salon is going through a massive remodel - it's beautiful. They don't have the clothing anymore but they do continue to offer great deals & variety of accessories/purses & all sorts of hair products. The location is prime & it was nice to be offered a glass of wine after a very hectic day ...loved my hair.
Pros: Service, quality, atmosphere

I first called Hair on the Common because it was the closest salon to my apartment. I asked if anyone knew how to cut naturally curly hair, and was connected with Ginger, who gave me the most amazing haircut! So few stylists know anything about natural curls - it was actually my first good haircut. I kept going to her until I moved. Now I am hoping to find another gem who can cut my hair well...it almost seems worth it to drive the hundreds of miles back to Hair on the Common. At least I'd know for sure that I'd get a good haircut!

If you want to really sweat your behind off - this is the place! This isn't a fluff-filled workout - my entire body feels it - great staff and a really fun place to go! Thought it was going to be muscle heads, but, soon realized that it's anybody and everybody, at all levels, joining in the classes. They even have kid's classes. You have to try it!

I love, love, love Shampoo. My friend told me about it a little over 2 years ago, and I've only strayed once, and that was because I was out of town, and a relative was going to pay. Other than that, all of the stylists are very nice, personable, and complimentary. I always leave with the best cut I've ever had. Every time. They use dye that doesn't come out of my hair immediately, like most of those other 'mall salons,' which means I get what I pay for. A little pricey, but well worth every penny.

We went to Randy's because my daughter wanted to get her tongue pierced NOW...not in three hours, when Psycho Clown opened. My oldest daughter had gotten a tattoo at Randy's, and assured us that it was a clean place of business.
I was quite impressed with the professionalism that the employees showed, and the cleanliness of their shop.

I have been in here several times with my mother in law and the staff is very friendly. We have been able to walk in without an appointment and they have been able to work us in in a reasonable amount of time. There is plenty of parking and the location is very good. Some of the women are hard to understand because of the heavy accents, but I have always been able to communicate what I needed. They offer pedicures, but I have only had a manicure.
