In terms of first impressions, the pub itself is really unassuming in appearance and even small. None of this matters. The beer selection is first rate and only the second place in the states I have found Fullers ESB on tap. If you are a true beer gourmand then Fullers ESB is it for you and if it doesn't become a staple for you, then you are still developing your palate for beer! There are a lot of regulars but you never feel like an outsider. All kinds of people show up at the pub from all walks of life so you always feel comfortable and not out of place. The regulars are a mixed amalgam of people, young and old, and there are now annoying drunks who haunt the place. The owner, Mick, is from the UK and many Scots and Brits frequent as well. All of whom have turned out to be very considerate, well adapted Texans. Mick is a very nice guy and his help are all friendly and service oriented. Outdoor seating extends along the entire front of the pub, and I usually choose to sit out front where there is always a nice breeze. Except for this pub, it is rare I can find my favorite good beers since coming home to TX. This is the place I go to get them and just hang out without the noise, flash and hubub. Other perks include lots of parking and just off the 30 exit at montgomery. I guess you can tell this has become my hometown pub.
Downsides (but worth it): Bathrooms are not so clean, some plastic chairs out front that aren't comfy, and the music selection on the juke is dated.

I took my dog to Wedgwood Animal Hospital because I adopted him from a rescue organization, and the organization had a deal with several area vets to check out adopted animals for general health. I felt that Dr. Lozzi did not really care to answer any of my questions, perhaps because the visit was free. Maybe his expertise serves paying customers a little better.

Our son used to see Dr. Vert as his pediatrician. We always found Dr. Vert to be kind, friendly, and helpful--it would be hard to find a more attentive doctor! However, we found many of her office staff to be curt and they seemed overly busy, and we often had to wait longer than an hour and a half to see the doctor, even for a scheduled check-up. In addition, our bill was often incorrectly filed with our insurance, requiring multiple visits and phone calls to fix our balance. While we love Dr. Vert, her office situation made it difficult to keep her as our doctor.

I like Dr. McIntosh. He does what I need and not alot of things (test, presciptions, etc) I don't need. The office staff and nurses are nice. His philosophy at least with me seems to be if things feel right, they probaby are. But if things don't feel right, they're probaby not. This doctor works well for me.

If you're looking for a great doctor in Fort Worth you need to see Dr. H. Thomas Willard at University Family Medical Clinic. He is great! He's very knowledgeable, has all kinds of awards on his wall, never rushes you out, listens attentively and actually explains things in a way you understand. He acts like a normal person and genuinely cares about his patients! All 3 of my family have been going to him for years and all absolutely love him. I wouldn't think of going to anyone else! Victoria is his head nurse and she's wonderful in her own right. So whether you need blood drawn, a shot, or to see the doctor you're going to love both Dr. Willard and Victoria! :) They'll even fit you in if needed and you call them. I can't say enough good things about them!

I switched from a traditional OB to the midwives group in my 34th week of pregnancy because I was determined to have an unmedicated birth. I got what I wanted, and also a much more relaxed, comfortable experience at my appointments.
THC has a group of five midwives that rotate taking appointments and on-call for the births. I got a chance to meet all of them and was impressed with how loving they all are. I was comfortable with each of them and would have been happy with whoever ended up at my birth.
When I went into labor they went above and beyond the call to bend their rules so that I could do it without the epi. I saw them throughout the time I was in the hospital and appreciated their great attitudes and support.
