Bass Hall is great place to see a performance. The building is beautiful, the ushers are helpful, and the performance was top notch. I went to see Sleeping Beauty by the Texas Ballet. The ballet company and the orchestra were magnificent. Both my wife and I really enjoyed it.
DO NOT BUY CHEAP TICKETS! We did and had to sit behind a drunk who acted like he was at a ballgame. At every intermission he went and got another drink and he got worse. I recommend you get tickets as close to the stage as you can afford.
I plan on going to a performance at Bass Hall at least a few times a year.

Lots of exercise as it is a large zoo with many exhibits. They had the dinoroar which my kids really enjoyed. The parrot haven is amazing. The birds fly and eat off sticks right around you. We have the family membership and it is worth every penny of it. Speaking of pennies they also have various machines located throughout the zoo that smashes and puts imprints of animals. Gives kids something to collect without spending lots of money. Nice souvenier shops.

The stockyard station is Texas to a T! You can have BBQ dinners or watch a cattle drive all in what use to be a cattle yard durning the hay day of Fort Worth. There are resturants and many shops where you can buy Texas related items or western wear. It is a great place to take visitors from out of town or for a fun day with the kids. You can even ride the train from Grapevine to Fort Worth - it comes right down into the middle of the Stockyards!

This was a fabulous zoo! We have gone twice this summer and still haven't seen the entire park (the second time we were rained out). I love the exhibits. The tiger exhibit is amazing!!! The waterfalls throughout the park are beautiful. I took an awesome photo of the tiger sitting on the edge of a waterfall. It's breathtaking! It's so easy to see the animals. The exhibits are set up in a way where they can't hide to far. We also enjoyed feeding the birds.
PROS: Exhibits are set up beautifully
CONS: Pricey..but worth it, no rainchecks :(, pay for parking

If you love baseball like i do and are tired of paying twenty dollars a ticket or more at the rangers games this is the plave to go. The ticktets and food is inexpesive. You sit up close. Instead of sixty rows back. The Fort Worth Cats is a great baseball team. After the game you can get autographs from the friendly players. If you love baseball and want your whole family to be able to come this is a great place for just that.

This was a great place to take the kids. although some of the stuff was a bit pricey, it was worth it. The food was great and they even had some free shows to watch. They had a jet ski show that was pretty entertaining. There were plenty of bounce houses and fun things for the kids to play in.

I have been to Four Day Weekend about 7 times in the last year and it is just amazing. The entire thing is improvised and it is definitely worth the $15 to get in. My absolute favorite thing to do in Fort Worth! They are only open fridays and saturdays though, and you HAVE to arrive early because the shows sell out frequently.

From the giant sculpture in the front, you know this museum is one to go to if you are into modern art. Actually, even if you aren't into modern art you will like this museum because its so interesting with the various exhibits that make you just marvel at the simplicity and what was running through the artists head. They had a very cool exhibit about Don Flavin a while back.

Kimbell Art Museum is a beautiful place. The building is the perfect match with the artwork it is the perfect setting. It is a great place to take kids to show them fine artwork. You do not have to wait for traveling exhibits because the museum has its own fine collection.

My son has done several field trips to the Casa Manana. He has always had such a great time watching the shows. They make it easy for schools to keep organized all while entertaining the children. Their shows are very entertaining and amusing. We have also visited as a family and always have a wonderful time. They offer plenty of children's programs that are always a blast.
