Not very honest. Made promises on buying new Jeep before I knew it price was a lot more than it was initally. Then told me to get my price range I would have to settle for something else when the Jeep started in my price range. They did not tell me the truth and made me think I could get what I wanted then changed it for what they needed to move instead.

I had credit run, they told me to drive about 20 miles for the Jeep I was looking at for a price match at another location. Promised me it was there said they had me approved. I was honest with my downpayment and trade in via phone. When I got there try to push WAY more and said other vehicle sold while I was in transit. They trick people not honest.

We bought a Jeep from Meador in 2001. One thing I didn't like right off the bat was although the windows were not tinted, since they already included it in the price, they would not take the money off, but instead made us wait 3 days to pick the Jeep up while they sent it out to get the windows tinted.
In 2003 we started to have problems with the transmission. We bought an extended warranty on the car through Chrysler/Jeep making it an extension of the original factory warranty. When we brought the car in to be serviced, they refused to work on it. They said that it was an extended warranty and it didn't cover the engine. I pulled out the paperwork and showed them that YES IT DID. I even called Chrysler Warranty Directly to verify that it covered EVERYTHING that could go wrong with my car...yup it did....but they still didn't want to work on it. In fact, one of the guys said "Oh, my sister has a Jeep and that loud thunking noise is normal..dont worry about it."
In conclusion they are really nice when it comes to selling you a car...but they are not very competant when it comes to servicing the vehicle. I recommend going 10 miles up the road to TOMMY MANUAL JEEP DEALERSHIP right off of I-20. They took one look at the warranty, gave me a free rental and said they would call me when they fixed the problem! They are fantastic and really make you feel like family.

This was a great place to shop for our new van. We went knowing what we wanted and about what price we should pay. The salesmen weren't pushy and showed us exactly what we wanted plus some with a few extras. I asked for a dvd player as other dealerships were offering that item with their vans and it was no problem. I have been to the service center a couple times for minor problems and have received top rate service.

This is the location where we bought our last van. We had looked at several different places to no avail. However, when we got to Meador they had such a large selection, they had just what we wanted. They salesperson we worked with was pretty hard-core and they always make me nervous. However, we were finally able to work something out after several hours with 3 small children. They were very good with covered maintenance and follow-up. All-in-all not a bad place to buy a van.

The sales people here are a little pushy, so when I want to look I will go on a Sunday to avoid them until I am ready to talk. I think they need a larger selection, but other than that they have some really nice vehicles on the lot. It is very easy to get to, and they have a clean dealership. I can think of other area dealerships I would rather go to though.
