A Taste of Europe makes some of the best cake I have ever tried. I have had their cakes at birthday parties, weddings and small dinner parties. They have a wonderful tasting and display room at their location that you can make appointments for when booking your event. The staff is very professional and friendly and they really make an effort to get you the cake that you want. My favorite flavor has to be the Kaluha chocolate cake with strawberries. They have plenty of parking and deliver to your location for weddings and big events.

When I am in the mood for donuts, and it's my day off, I always stop by Ann's Donuts. It is run by one of the most charismatic people that I know! She always has interesting stories!!
The donuts are beyond belief...they literally melt in your mouth!
Their prices are very comparable to other donut shops...and the entertainment is FREE!!!
Ask the owner about car-washing in the rain!!

While I've never ordered a wedding cake or anything too elaborate from Blue Bonnet Bakery, I will brag on their sheet cakes. I ordered a white cake with buttercream icing for a friend's birthday, and now I'm hooked. Regular cakes just don't taste the same anymore. The cake was beautifully decorated and had a unique texture. The cake was very light and fluffy, and I'm sure I gained five pounds on the icing alone!

Celebrity Cafe and Bakery is a cute, pink cafe in the University Park Shopping Center. Although on any given day at lunch, you might expect to see 90% females and only 10% males - they have plenty of options hardy enough for a male appetite.
At lunch they offer a variety of salads, sandwiches, and quiche. My favorite salad is the cobb salad - with generous portions of cheese, egg, bacon, turkey, avacado.
Although they are not open in the evenings, they prepare trays of food for take-home (or catering). Several times I have brought an affordable trey home ($10 range) and had a perfect dinner for my husband and myself (with leftovers).
My favorite part of Celebrity is their sweets. We have never been disappointed with any of the desserts we have picked up from Celebrity. Their cakes are incredibly moist! Also they sell by the cake or by the slice....
The only reason why they do not get 5*'s is because of the wait. Too often I have had to wait 10+ minutes to place my order, or even wait to have a table after placing order.

The donuts here are ALWAYS fresh, but be careful....get there early for the best selections!! People have been know to walk through the doors and scarf up dozens upon dozens of their goodies!!
Thankfully...they always have the good ol' glazed donuts waiting patiently by.
Their prices are very reasonable......and they are on my way to work!
Try their breakfast burritos....yummy!!!
P.S. Parking lot can be a problem getting out of, as they are right on the corner of McLeroy and Saginaw Main St.

The food is terrific. I typically order the "choose 2" and have a 1/2 salad and 1/2 Bro's Bistro salad.
The service is friendly yet hurried.

This is a fantastic bakery. They have the BEST NAPOLEANS IN THE WORLD!!!! You can't find them anywhere else, and the few places that I have found them don't come anywhere near there's. A must to try!!
