Celebrity Cafe and Bakery is a cute, pink cafe in the University Park Shopping Center. Although on any given day at lunch, you might expect to see 90% females and only 10% males - they have plenty of options hardy enough for a male appetite. At lunch they offer a variety of salads, sandwiches, and quiche. My favorite salad is the cobb salad - with generous portions of cheese, egg, bacon, turkey, avacado. Although they are not open in the evenings, they prepare trays of food for take-home (or catering). Several times I have brought an affordable trey home ($10 range) and had a perfect dinner for my husband and myself (with leftovers). My favorite part of Celebrity is their sweets. We have never been disappointed with any of the desserts we have picked up from Celebrity. Their cakes are incredibly moist! Also they sell by the cake or by the slice.... The only reason why they do not get 5*'s is because of the wait. Too often I have had to wait 10+ minutes to place my order, or even wait to have a table after placing order.
