I reluctantly accept the fact that when I go in to Asel Art Supply to make a purchase (usually some cheap canvas or a cool pen), I am going to get condescending stares from the apparently starving artists who work there. I'm OK with that. This place is so cool. Whether you're a serious artist like the employees there or an amateur hack like me, there's something for everybody.

The Artful Bead is one of those stores that you go to when you are looking to make jewelry with beads and need something special. They have a huge selection of beads that are natural glass and stone. There are a lot of strings and wires to string them on. They even teach classes on how to make jewelry. This is a great place to go when looking for more than just the normal plastic bead.

We took a very nice stocking to the Watauga EmbroidMe store to have our son's name put on it. They did not charge us a setup fee and the amount for the embroidery was very cheap. The employees were very nice and helpful in getting our order place. The embroidering was completed quicker than promised and looked great!!! They have a lot of different items in their store that can be purchased for embroidery- everything from baby clothes to adult clothes and home items. Overall great store!!

The staff at Cross Stitch corner is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their products. They have an incredible selection of items from animals to holiday's. I have never been in there where they were unable to show me patterns for a theme I was looking for. They sell all the accessories and threads that you need to complete your projects. They also have a framing shop inside the store for everything from prints to your cross-stitch creations. There prices are very good and their selection is top-notch.

This place does smell wonderful!! However...their "clearance" table leaves a lot to be desired...usually there are a lot of candles with only the same scent available.
I have lucked into getting several candles there at bargain prices, and gave them away as gifts...which made my friends VERY happy!
As nice as it smells......I'll spend my hard earned money on candles elsewhere!
