Lots of exercise as it is a large zoo with many exhibits. They had the dinoroar which my kids really enjoyed. The parrot haven is amazing. The birds fly and eat off sticks right around you. We have the family membership and it is worth every penny of it. Speaking of pennies they also have various machines located throughout the zoo that smashes and puts imprints of animals. Gives kids something to collect without spending lots of money. Nice souvenier shops.

The stockyard station is Texas to a T! You can have BBQ dinners or watch a cattle drive all in what use to be a cattle yard durning the hay day of Fort Worth. There are resturants and many shops where you can buy Texas related items or western wear. It is a great place to take visitors from out of town or for a fun day with the kids. You can even ride the train from Grapevine to Fort Worth - it comes right down into the middle of the Stockyards!

My family and I have been going to Burgers Lake for the past 15 years and we always have a great time! It is truly an old fashion swimming hole and a great place to spend a hot summer day. It costs next to nothing compared to the large themed water parks. Instead of thrills come for some real family fun that includes a large relaxing spring fed lake, sandy beaches, inner tube rentals to lounge in, diving boards and rope swings!!

This was a great place to take the kids. although some of the stuff was a bit pricey, it was worth it. The food was great and they even had some free shows to watch. They had a jet ski show that was pretty entertaining. There were plenty of bounce houses and fun things for the kids to play in.

More
Main Event is a bowling alley but the giant arcade of games and laser tag are a big part of the attraction. The lanes are fun because of the constant laser type light show that goes on as you bowl.
This place is a favorite for birthday parties. You get 2 games of bowling, $10 worth of tokens for the games, a party room with balloons and some other items.
Everything is well organized and runs smoothly, Cost for 6 kids is going to be at least $100.
Kids love the arcade games because you build up points that are loaded onto your game card. With the points, you can "buy" items at the store, much like Chuck--E-Cheese. Kids love it!

The rink is relatively easy to get to in downtown Fort Worth and affords skaters an unobstructed view of the ceiling of the Tandy Center, which is now an outlet mall since the Radio Shack corporation moved their headquarters to a new building. The staff at The Ice is helpful and offers onsite skate sharpening as well as skate rentals for those who do not own their own skates.
