American Health Fitness Centers run gyms at two locations in Fort Wayne. One is at North Clinton and the other is on Illinois Road. Each offers something a little different. They have been open in Fort Wayne for over 45 years. While other gyms have come and gone in Fort Wayne-even Gold's Gym that went head to head with the Illinois Road location--- American Health Fitness Centers has come out on top. The gyms have the traditional weight machines and spa. The locker rooms are clean and they are open late. Plenty of free parking out in front at both locations.

I joined AHF in September of 2009. I have been very disappointed with this gym. The equipment and facilities are outdated and overall very dirty. Less than a month after signing a contract my car...

I joined AHF in September of 2009. I have been very disappointed with this gym. The equipment and facilities are outdated and overall very dirty. Less than a month after signing a contract my car window was broken out while parked at the South American Health club. Then while speaking with a manager about the break in, I was told this happens all the time. I suggested they get cameras put up in the parking lot to catch the criminals if this is happening frequently. Instead of saying "we will", I was told "there are signs posted warning you not to leave things in your car". NICE!!

American Health Fitness Centers run gyms at two locations in Fort Wayne. One is at North Clinton and the other is on Illinois Road. Each offers something a little different. They have been open in Fort Wayne for over 45 years.
