I've got So Kong Dong on my cell phone list! So you know where I go or call for this tasty Korean meal. Perfect meal when you crave for soon do bu, and the tasty kalbi. Menu is very simple, different combination of soon do bu, variation of spice-mild, medium, or very spicy! The tofu comes out still bubbling, which you can crack a raw egg into the pot and let it cook.
Their rice in a bowl is so delicious, and the extra crunchy rice get's mixed with their tea for a post meal soup. I never make it that far because my soon do bu & kalbi are too filling!
The Pan Chan is standard but my favorite standby's are the spicy cucumbers. There is usually a line when the weather turns cooler. Parking is up front unless it's full, then you got to street park it.
Been going here for years, never disappoints me for it's consistency. I plan on patronizing for years to come.

This restaurant is known for their spicy tofu soups. If you like tofu or if you think you like tofu, then you should come and have a taste. The menu isn’t big, all they serve is tofu but there’s a decent variety of it. You can have seafood tofu, beef tofu, mushroom tofu or pork tofu soup. Either way, you’re going to eat tofu. They come in 4 degrees of flavor, non-spicy, spicy, medium spicy or hot spicy. I usually only order the medium, but I see the majority of Koreans braving the hot. The cost per person is extremely cheap, $7 per tofu soup. This makes a wonderful yet cost efficient dinner.
Parking is limited and it gets crowded during peak meal hours.
