The show was great the service sucked((( on my bday I had to stress about some plates not cooked the way my friends wanted and the waitress was sooo rude about it...really...?? Not going back. more

They sure know how to have fun at this place... maybe a little too much fun! The food was fairly okay... nothing special. The shows were funny and entertaining, but some of the queens got a little carried away and were only interested in money. I had a good time overall, but thought the place would be classier! more

Performers are only out to make money and don't value the customers. I asked to take a picture with one, and they said they were too busy counting money. Another told me since I was an amateur I should "sit down and shut up" even though I was just asking if we could get a closer seat to the stage as some of the people in my party were having trouble seeing the stage from the back of the club. That was before anyone else arrived and all the other tables were open. I found the club to be extremely rude and I won't be attending again. more

My dinner was delicious and it was a fun place to visit. My criticism is that the show was too commercial. They spent way too much time trying to sell the audience various things. I think the show would have been much more fun if they had sung more songs and spent less time touting the show, drinking glasses and etc. Also, it would have been better if they had put the desserts on the menu and not tried to sell them from the stage. more

Lips Ft. Lauderdale is all about profit and little to do with substance. \r \r First of all, we were forced to valet park. In the interest of full disclosure, the valet parking is gratuitous but of course you're expected to tip. \r \r The food was overpriced and mediocre at best...$16 for a handful of frozen ravioli and not even a piece of bread to sop up the sauce.\r \r Weak drinks at $7.50 each??? Sheesh.\r \r Lastly, the entertainment was marginal, lasting just over an hour including a rather lengthy segment of advertising their dessert menu.\r \r Bottom line: Spent $115 for two and left feeling $115 poorer and none-the-richer for the experience. more

This place was like a used car lot. The cost for the in-edible food was ridiculous. I get the show part and the rude server thing, but come on. If you are going to claim you are a restaurant first, then be a restaurant. The quesadillias were burnt and disgusting. The "meatball sliders" were a piece of toast with a meatball stuck on top. Then the terrible waste and buzz kill of bringing anyone celebrating anything on stage... we were BORED SOBER!!! I could have spent my $60 on a real meal and dancing and would have had a TON more fun with my girlfriends. more

The show is hilarious, great night out for any group! Surprisingly the food was very good! Service was great. Only thing I didn't like 2 things, #1 they do not give you separate checks no matter how many times you ask. Which is sad, because they should. #2 The Valet stole the GPS out of my car! more

I went for Twat La Rouge's Tuesday party ($5 Cosmo specials=awesome) with some friends. Her costumes are to die for, and honestly we couldn't stop laughing. Miss La Rouge also can move. The show was a blast! Chocollatta waited on us and was super friendly and helped us get our drink on! The food was decent, but honestly that's not what we came for. Decor over the top and sparkly. Great way to spend a night. Pros: Fierce queens, good drinks,Drag-a-licious Friendy Waitresses Cons: being forced to pay for valet parking more

I loved Lips!! 1/24/2010

I threw my friend a birthday party here with about 10 people! We had such a blast - service was great by Chocolatta. Timely drinks and food and never a dull moment. The show was amazing, all the queens were fabulous! Twat La Rouge, Chocolatta and Misty Eyes! Love Love Love them! I can't wait to go back again and bring even more people! The show is excellent but the food is TERRIBLE! from appetizer to dessert everything was bland, tasted like it was spooned from a can, put in the microwave for 2 minutes then dumped on a plate. Go for the show, have some drinks, but stay away from the food!! more

Lips has a professional staff of entertainers and service with a glittered smile. Its fun, free, high energy atmosphere can take you out of your everyday upon starry eyed entry. Each and every night has a different theme and experience to fit any mood. Its great for celebrations & just for FUN! I encourage anyone looking for a colorful evening to paint the town over and over again with this truly unique dining experience! Pros: Theatrical Entertainment, and yummy cosmos! Cons: Not for the shy wall flower type! more

Twat LaRouge is AWESOME! 1/16/2010

Lips is a really fun dinner theater place right next to Fort Lauderdale. It features Florida's premiere drag queens and provides a playful atmosphere for the young and the young at heart. The cocktails are lovely and the service is always with a smile. Waitresses are the drag queens who provide that extra bit of ""fierce,"" fun, attitude to your meal as well as a great show. Make sure you get your bills ready because these ladies work hard for the money! Pros: Excitingly friendly and diverse atmosphere. Cons: Not for the close minded type. more

Sunday Brunch 8/17/2008

The show is lame, the sound volume was way too high (we sat next to the stage and speakers - MISTAKE!), but the food and service were good. The show was boring, with each actor lip-synching rather than singing and basically repeating each other -- stand on stage for half the song, then walk through the audience until the song is over. If you go, request a table in the back so your ears won't be ringing when you leave. Our total was $55 for two, including food, tip and valet. Pros: Food, service Cons: Boring show, music way too loud more
