We went to Wannado City on a field trip. Luckily going in a large group meant we were able to get in on a discounted rate. I would never pay full price for Wannado City. The kids did have fun but there are a few things that need to be improved. There is basically nothing an adult can do but sit around. There is a cafe upstairs where you can watch and various places to sit. You cannot participate. OK--if I have to sit around, why should I pay to come in? The cash concept where children are paid for various jobs is OK. The problem is they really have few to buy anything. The kids were frustrated that they worked so hard for so much money and beyond using it for cookies at the chef area there wasn't anything to spend it on. I think a lot of people are using Wannado city as a baby sitting service while they shop the mall. I would never just leave my children there. Most of the employees are young and barely older than the kids that are playing there!

I have taken my 3.5 year old there twice in the last two weeks. Kids can literally do and be anything they want to be. From firemen, policemen to bakers and esteticians. When they walk in they are given $150.00 Wannado Bucks, they proceed to the bank and cash it. Now they can go and either "work" for more money or they can "spend/buy" with the money. For example they can go work in the mines or dig for dinosaur bones and earn money. Or they can go get a manicure (for real!) and pay for that service. The fee is a little steep for children that age and the fact that they charge the parents admission is a little crazy. They have a few restaurants and an adult lounge upstairs. Everyone in the party receives a "GPS" like tracking bracelet that you can scan and instantly locate your friends/family. All in all I wish it was around when I was a kid!

Well the experience for children is great. They get to do anything they can imagine (within the park) and earn something for doing it. They can ride on fire trucks, bake cookies, be an archaeologist, work in a hospital or on an airliner. The place is designed with such detail it is great fun to see. The downside is that parents have to pay and don't get to do anything and the kids earn this "fake" money and cant really buy anything for it. If there is only one thing to change it would be to offer some kind of snack bar or "prizes" for the kids to redeem with their money.

Yup... it's pricey for entry, but my son LOVED it! I thought it was pretty cool. The only thing I think is kind of stupid is that after the kids "earn" the wannado bucks, they can't buy a soda... More

Yup... it's pricey for entry, but my son LOVED it! I thought it was pretty cool. The only thing I think is kind of stupid is that after the kids "earn" the wannado bucks, they can't buy a soda with them, or a small toy. Would be nice if they could, even if it cost them forty wannado bucks. My son has about 600 unspent bucks. If you are a Florida resident, the rates get a bit cheaper, and you can save by buying more than one day.

We took our young ones there, and it was ok.. I mean he seemed to have fun the first 30 minutes but after that just like blah... The pricing is a little above average for what the children do.. (simulate jobs) Kids 3 – 13 years old $29.95 Ages 14 and over $15.95 oh and the parent's have to pay to, just to see them.. you can't "play" lol not what you would want to...
