This store is the #1 on my list when it comes to the rudest, cockiest, and meanest store. There is no excuse for how they treated me. I bet they have more angry customers than happy ones. I never bought anything from them nor will I ever. I can't believe this store has been in business for how long it has. Go to Lowes if you wanted to be treated like a customer and if you want a better price too.

This is one of my favorite places to shop, especially in the winter when I can't wait for spring. This store is jam-packed with unique gardening decor, books, fountains, and some tools, plants and seeds. I have found some unique Christmas gifts for my gardening friends as well. Parking is off-street, but it's not too difficult to find a spot nearby.

Fort Collins doesn't have a Williams-Sonoma, so this is where you go for high-quality cooking supplies or that unique kitchen gadget. The prices are reasonable, but don't expect a steal. Still it's fun to browse and they do carry several unique items. They also offer cooking classes and have a chocolate/candy shop inside the store, too.

I have been to Fort Collins Nursery many, many times - I return because of the great deals, wide selection, and ...well ... because it's just a nice place to walk around in!
While I have not purchased trees there, their selection of shrubs, small fruits, and perennials is wonderful! I have found plants there that I have not been able to locate elsewhere (check out their Hosta area, for example). Every perennial that I have purchased there has thrived over the years. The play area is centrally located and a delight to kids & parents alike. As with all the nurseries in town, staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help. The gift area also carries some very unique items for the person 'who has everything'. Stop buy and wander around ... I promise that you will get some ideas and will probably walk away with a plant or two (whether you planned on it or not!)

Bath is my landscaper of choice!
Their landscaping crew is great, working with you until your vision and their vision is a perfect match. They will keep at it until you are completely satisfied, and you can see that their name and reputation means a lot to them in this community. The landscape crews that have come out are polite and respectful, and clean up after themselves perfectly. People are out at all phases to make sure that things are not only going to plan, but that the plan is still unfolding the way you envisioned it.
Once the job is done, Bath still keeps you in mind as a customer, with periodic 'drive by's' to ensure that everything is healthy and doing well.
You know, every nursery in Fort Collins seems to fill a special niche, and service and attention to detail is the hallmark of Bath. They also have an awesome selection of shrubs, trees and roses, and everything that has been planted by them has either thrived or been cheerfully replanted by another plant. If you want a perfect blend of skill and high priority on customer service, then I highly recommend Bath!

Choice Cleaning cleaned my house in Fort Collins for over 5 years and I loved them. They always showed up on time and did a great job. My one complaint was that they never left a bill or reminded you if you forgot to pay, so if you forgot twice in a row (something I did once or twice), they would just leave without cleaning your house. Their employees seemed to stay with them for a while and they were all friendly and good cleaners.
I've heard it's hard to get them to take a new job. They wouldn't follow me to Berthoud - I called multiple times to try to talk them into it!

Mac's Lawn Service took care of my yard in Fort Collins (and half the yards on the street, I think) for years. They always showed up on time, descended on your yard in mass, did a great job and left with little fuss. They would also do things like work on sprinklers, do landscaping and fences.

I used Newton Inspection Services when I bought my home and they were great. Not only were they extremely thorough but they were also willing to explain what they were doing in great detail to me (a first time home buyer) and they gave me lots of good suggestions.

I've used Poudre Valley Air several times for my house and for my rentals. They do great annual checkups of your furnace, air conditioner, and humifier as well as trouble shooting anything that might go wrong in between. Like all the service companies that I like, they are willing to explain what they are doing and show you how to do it yourself.
