The Cupboard is the best kitchen store I have ever been to and is one of my favorite stores in Fort Collins. They have pans, ceramics, dried food and coffee, tons of miscellaneous kitchen gadgets, books, candles, rugs, and much more. They have cooking demonstrations, and they often give away free samples. The store looks wonderful with wood floors, a staircase, and nice lighting. It’s in a great location (old town). They also sell local Colorado products. The staff is great and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this store.

Every town should have its own version of The Cupboard! This great store carries kitchen hard goods such as pots and pans, baking supplies, gadgets, dishes, silverware, a huge selection of glasses, fine knives, a large selection of coffee beans/makers/mugs, several fixtures of teas and their accouterments, candles, imported foodstuff, cookbooks, novelty candy, and a few cold cases of truffles, chocolates, and other confections.
During the holiday season, this selection is augmented by Christmas ornaments (many imported from Germany) and other gift selections. Upstairs houses a several aisles of cookbooks, baskets, rugs, and other accessories. Add to this the line-up of cooking classes held in the evenings, and you pretty much have a full-stop kitchen store of your dreams. It is very hard to walk in and not find something you just *have* to have!
Prices are a tad on the high side, but it is usually worth the extra cost in order to support a local icon like the Cupboard!

Fort Collins doesn't have a Williams-Sonoma, so this is where you go for high-quality cooking supplies or that unique kitchen gadget. The prices are reasonable, but don't expect a steal. Still it's fun to browse and they do carry several unique items. They also offer cooking classes and have a chocolate/candy shop inside the store, too.
