This place has a nice selection of appliances, I bought all of mine from them when we were redoing our kitchen a couple of years back. I like that they have next day delivery and never have had a problem with them in that regard. I was unhappy with some of the things that the salesman said certain appliances could do (like my stove having a convection oven when it really didn't) so you may want to do your research beforehand. The prices are reasonable and they are much easier to deal with them some department store appliance departments.

This store used to have a wide selection of plants and bushes to pick from but I haven't been in so far this year since they look so empty when I pass by anymore. I used to like their wide selection but I find them to be overpriced and the quality wasn't as good, everything I bought last year except for 1 died, even though all my plants and flowers from other locations survived. They also have garden ornaments and a section of cut flowers.

If you're tired of pushy salespeople at the large chains who work on commission and want truly friendly servcie (and not someone just trying to make a sale), then Darro's is the place for you. we have bought mattresses, beds and some other furniture from darro's and have always been happy with the quality of the product and the amount of time it took for our orders to arrive. Their delivery service is also reasonable and you don't have the hassle of dealing with outside delivery companies that furniture sellers often pass you off on. They also have a wide selection. And if you can't find what you're looking for at their main store, they also have an outlet right up the street with even better prices.

I discovered this place when I needed a lamp post and did not like the small selection I was finding. I found their prices reasonable and was surprised by the quantity of their selection of many types of lightning - recessed, stained glass, decorative, ceiling fans, etc. The staff knows their product and is very helpful. Worth checking out if you want to get something a little different than the norm.

Good basic selection. I can accomplish in 2 minutes what it takes an hour to accomplish at Home Depot. Not the selection, but heck - they always seem to have what I need, and they don't beat you over the head with prices.
Love the little local businesses!
