True Value Hardware on Main Street reminds me of a small town mom-and-pop hardware store. They have a very broad selection of hardware and auto supplies, as well as housewares. The staff are very helpful and will help you find what you're looking for. The prices are competitive with Lowes, and it's a lot closer.

Folkston, GA is a very small town on Hwy 1 just over the FL / GA line. Not alot of places to rest your tired body after a long day of family, fun, food and laughs after a family reuinon but you can depend on the Western Motel. We've stayed at this motel a few times and the rooms are nice, the owners are friendly and the prices are great.

The Gibson McDonald Furniture store has lots to choose from you're when wanting to redecorate a room or your entire house. The prices of their furniture is very reasonalbe and the quality is the same. The service is very friendly and not pushy and will allow you to browse around the store without thinking they need to follow your every step but are always available if you have a question.

Mikey's Pizza is easy to find on 2nd Street in Folkston. It's a comfortable family restaurant with fast, reliable pick-up. I think their pizza is 100% better if you order a deep dish, but that's just my opinion. It's actually cheaper to order a pizza from Mikey's than to pick up a deli pizza at Harvey's next door! A large pepperoni runs about $10.00, I think a medium is about $8.00 or $9.00.

If you're looking for a special occasion dress with hand sewn detail then Heaven to Seven is a great place to check out. It's a cute boutique with adorable children's clothes, (including a very good selection of cute boys clothes), as well as toys and baby shower gifts. The average outfit costs about $50. The store is very organized and fun to shop and the owner is friendly and helpful.
